I'm here working at a job that is driving me crazy (healthcare) where I'm seeing the first-hand results of being poor, having a lack of healthcare, lack of knowledge, lack of adequate outlets to healthy eating. I am seeing diabetic kids, kids with dyslexia slip through the cracks because parents are overworked and undereducated. I am seeing children suffer first hand because of our adult mistakes. I can't emphasize enough we need to reform! I normally am so "meh" on things. I don't know what it is about Bernie but its just music to my ears. I'm here working at a job that is driving me crazy (healthcare) where I'm seeing the first-hand results of being poor, having a lack of healthcare, lack of knowledge, lack of adequate outlets to healthy eating. I am seeing diabetic kids, kids with dyslexia slip through the cracks because parents are overworked and undereducated. I am seeing children suffer first hand because of our adult mistakes. Healthcare wouldn't be such an absurd expenditure if people spent the same energy demanding quality food that they do demanding universal healthcare. But we have to dig a little deeper and start asking fundamental questions about the *efficacy* of allopathic medicine in general.
