    Hello can you explain the math you used to figure out the acceptable weight? You mentioned the length of the leg and the torque of the motor. What is the formula? Do you have any reference you could share as I am trying to figure out what motors will be best for a project. Thanks

    What I'd suggest is modifying the protection circuit to allot for a slightly higher current draw for 4B to fully function. And to still protect the battery.

    this would be interesting to revist and add "morphing" legs ...using the same tech used to make morphing wing trailing edge ...it would allow each leg to "stretch"

    If you dont mind advice i would incorporate drone propellers into the legs a small panel would open exposing the propellers for flight they are small enough to be added into the planet exsploration rovers.

    Tiny little cell, not enough energy to really worry about, just add a flame barrier and program the robot to open up to vent flames of it gets too hot ;)

    Be careful with cheap crocodile wires. I got same issue with dropping down power at developed device with same wires and I took time to figure out that trouble was not at accumulator or schematic.

      i totally understand what you mean but the current drawn by the robot is 600mA max so the wire drop shouldn't effect it that much

      @@CarlBugeja I got this issue with eps8266 project. In peaks it takes up to 200mA and exact in this moments I got much lower voltage on device.
