This man has no limitations. He solves a problem once, and then solves it again but better, and then better still. Engineering is all about problem solving, but he takes it a step further by not just solving the problem but by solving it every way he can until it's near perfect. Such dedication is rare, and he deserves only the most respect for it. Well done man, you are truly an inspiring maker!

Okay, I don't usually comment on youtube, but now I have to. This is the most advanced DIY project I've ever seen on youtube. I'm interested in FOC, AHRS, and other robotics stuff, but the sheer amount of tech and work in this project is mind-blowing. Such project are done by TEAMS of people. If you really know all this stuff then please change the world and aim for the stars.
He just started a company and released the first Robot product a few days ago.

I’m not normally amazed by TH-cam videos, I often go looking for builds and content and am disappointed with how basic/aimed at kids the designs are.

厉害厉害！外科手术机器人最有代表性的就是达芬奇机器人了。控制系统和算法本身就已经门槛很高了，而且对减速系统也玩得这么熟。至少自觉外科拥有了大量减速器和补偿系统的专利。佩服佩服，外科医生就需要你们给我们第三只手臂。
虽然都是计算机行业从业者，但这项目里的任何一个模块单独拿出来，都够我们这些人喝一壶的。

他是华为的工程师，这机械臂完全是利用业余时间完成的，相当牛。当然在当地比较容易就能找到相应的的加工厂或买到相应的零部件，比如这机械臂cnc的金属加工以及表面的氧化喷砂工艺，在珠三角下单给加工厂，可能一个星期就能拿到货，还有电子硬件，今天下单可能三天内就到货，pcb基板，最快有24小时能拿到样品的。不过说实话，一个人在这么短时间完成需要几个部门才能完成的事，是真厉害，华为工程师牛啊

i tried (much less successfully) to make my own robotic arm when i was in grade 11, when there werent the micro-controllers that are available now. i ended up making a pneumatic piston out of a copper pipe, and it never worked very well. its amazing to see your successful deployment and design of this machine. well done! 🙏

Well done. I created a very basic 6DOF arm a few years ago using very cheap metal gear RC servos, the problem with those is no feedback, and the shoulder torque is a bit low for good movement. I was able to connect it to ROS and control it using ROSControl joint messages. The arm was controlled by an arduino and a 16-channel servo I2C board. I have a video on vimeo somewhere of it performing some tests.
