When You start on a Building for your shop GO BIG is all I can say....I've built several shops and Not 0ne of them was acceptable really. UNTIL I found a 0ld Factory type building for my last shop.
I have one...Believe it or Not. Its an 0l' Factory where they used to make Big Roof Joists for warehouses. Its 240' deep by 140' wide by 50' tall. The main building. it has an another 20' by 100' on the west side for all the bathrooms and showers. And it has a Overhead Crane (50 Tonne) (that works) in it, sit'n on 55 acres. I built my Lil' apartment 13'.6"x 37' in it. And, I even target practice in here also. I LOVE IT T00❕

Good advice! I’ve long debated how big to build a shop. Land is incredibly expensive here so that’s gonna be a factor. Shooting for a 50x80 but would like a 100x200. Probably gonna have to start small and work my way up

That’s awesome. Those orange ones are bad ass. He’s doing a lot better, got the neck brace off yesterday but still not able to do much for about another month.
