Dr. David P. Wyant’s PhD graduation at Clark’s Summit University Baptist Bible Seminary in 2024

Dave started his studies in 2013 at Piedmont International University Temple Baptist Seminary. Unfortunately, Piedmont discontinued their PhD program just after Dave completed his comprehensive exams in 2019. What a blessing it was to us to be welcomed by Clark’s Summit University Baptist Bible Seminary to write his dissertation starting in 2020. In March of 2024, Dave successfully defended his dissertation entitled “A textlinguistic analysis of the two Hagar episodes in Gen 16:1-16 and 21:1-21 using the tagmemic approach to discourse analysis.” May 11, 2024 the Lord blessed us with a wonderful graduation ceremony. We travelled to Clark’s Summit Pa (a five hour trip) in a borrowed van from Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley with Dave’s dad, Don, Lynn’s mom Gayle, Dave’s sister Jill and Dave’s adopted mom Saundra Slagle. What wonderful memories we made! Praise the Lord for His provision, wisdom, and equipping. To God be the glory!
