Do you have a recovery email connected to your Google Account? Do you have a recovery phone number connected to your Google Account? Once you answer these 4 questions I can advise you further.

and what if you don`t have access anymore to the device where youve being log in... They simply make that steps to force you to put recovery phone number (which they dont use anymore for recovery anyway) and to breach your data protection in that way as they was forced by law now to respect people privacy. With other words, they telling you "you can remove you contact phone and email. but we will pretend that for your security we dont let you access your email..."

@dOgBoGsY wOoFsAlOt Alright-- So I've solved this issue relatively a while back-- And truly it was that I had turned off my device's (in this case, my laptop's) location router without knowing that it would affect Google's crappy verification code that way. All I did was:
- I went into a Google account (you could create one, I suppose, if you can't access the one you're trying to log into)
>>Click your profile picture icon at the top right of your screen and click "Manage your Google Account"
- Then I clicked "Privacy and personalization"
- I then clicked on "Location History", as it said "paused" in grey font. Once I turned that back on, I tried to log back into my account and Google was able to verify that it was me.
Truly, Google really does need to know that your device is recognizable. A.k.a, that your device/location is one of which that account that you're trying to log back into is recognizable. I hope that made sense! And I hope that that helps.
@dOgBoGsY wOoFsAlOt I mentioned the option of creating a new account to try and access the steps I've listed above. Though if you do not find that fitting, then I apologize, there's not much that can be done.

Hello sir, did this happen to you 4 months ago? I got locked out of my account even though I have a recovery email and phone number. Google thinks the recent changes I did in my account were suspicious so it locked me out. I've read from the posts in Google community that I should try not to logging in or recovering my account for 7 full days. I waited for 7 days but it's still the same. You mentioned by the end of your video that I can try not logging in for 1 month. Is this something that is sure? I haven't read this on the net. Even Google product experts don't know what to do in my situation. I'm still using the same device, at the same location with the same IP address with a recovery email and phone number, but because Google thinks I'm a hacker, it doesn't ask me any questions at all. Please refer to the links in the video description above. There are two real world examples there of waiting 1 month which may allow the security alert flags to clear allowing you to log in without having to go through Account Recovery as long as you know your current password.

For my secondary account google won't accept any of the passwords I used for that account even though they were correct and I still have them wrote down on paper today so I know they are correct. When I created a TH-cam Channel last year I didn't realize that it Changed my whole google account Password because it was through that google account. So now I have it working again. At the time I only thought it was TH-cam account was a separate one to the google account I have been trying to access all year which it wasn't.

Google did not offer to contact me via another email, which would have been great. It instead only asked to text/call my old phone number, which is now defunct. I am attempting to sign in on my home laptop and my home wifi, there is no good reason Google would not recognize them. Desperately need access to the email.

Hi CSC Unique Solution, Did you forget your current password? If you did. Then that's ok as long as you have a recovery email or recovery phone number linked to your account. If you don't have these then you will need remember your previous passwords, and attempt account recovery with your usual IP only as unfortunately Google doesn't recognize your device anymore since you did a reset on your phone. I hope this helps.

The only thing it says is to type in a previous password. No other options and I type my same password on my same network, same browser and everything and it just gives me "Google couldn’t verify this account belongs to you." with no other options.
That's correct, this is because you mustn't have a recovery email, phone number or two factor verification setup on your Google account. The only question Google's AR AI can ask you is your previous password as your current password should have been used to log in. If you don't have a previous password then input your current password and make sure you are logging in from an internet connection, device and location that google recognises to increase your chances of regaining access to your Google account.

Yes, I’m logging in with the current password I used, same browser, same internet. The thing is I use a VPN a lot which sometimes gets google acting up on suspicious activity. On another email i had to change passwords several times because of this.
I was using a VPN when I got locked out. But most of the time I use my home internet (like yesterday) so it should have no issue recognizing my main internet IP.
I practically lost my account forever because i type in my password and it just says unable to verify it’s you.
Did you try entering your previous password (if you have any)? If you don't have any previous passwords and can only enter your current password then I recommend waiting 28 days to 1 month without any sign in activity to potentially allow the suspicious activity flags to clear.

hi idk what u mean when u say using a location and a device which google knows that could mean many things. The device i used last with this account i dont have anymore so i literally dont know how to get google to "know" my location and device, allowing me to login. What I mean by that is that you can boost your chance of verifying ownership of your Google Account by attempting Account Recovery with your usual internet connection and a device that you regularly used in the past to log into said Google Account. I hope hope that clarifies some things for you.

There is one last thing you can try as a last resort and that is to wait 28 days-1month for any red flags which is triggering account verification to potentially clear. That would be your final option.
the account i had was on an old phone number i no longer have, and we changed our wifi carriers. when i put in the password on my newer phone, it works yet i tried putting recovery emails which kept bringing me back to that same screen. Thank you for the video, I however have a few unfortunate circumstances that I’m hoping someone can help with.
1. I bought a new Laptop and gave away my old computer after formatting the hard drives and reinstalling windows
2. I bought a new phone
3. This is my secondary account that I sign into less often and not yet signed in on either of my new devices, but has some rather important information stored in it
4. I just moved overseas for study so cannot use an already known IP address
5. I’ve only ever used the current password on this account, never changed it so do not have a previous one that I can reference
The one advantage I have is that I did set a recovery email address when I made the account and that is my primary account which I still have access to.
Hi Angarl, you are right about having one major advantage and that is the fact that you have a recovery email set, however I am puzzled as to why you haven't already verified ownership of your google account already? Is Google hinting at your recovery email during the recovery process or are they asking for a contact email?

I actually use a VPN on my phone and I did not cancel had problem with the phone then I bought a new one now can not sing in again or recover my email account and all my backups pls help out bro.
This happened to me and no one at Google assists, they have terrible customer service. I paid a year in advance for extra storage and they cannot help.

I just described the nasty method in which I was locked out, and YT deleted it. Trying again. During the recovery attempt, I was sent a code via email and told to use that to recover access to my email account. Of course they sent the code to the very same email account in which I was locked out of in the first place.

@@niklas4505 I have another account and it has its 2 step security verification email address, along with having two registered security keys. But sometimes when I open my Gmail on that account, it says in the upper right hand corner of the screen, "Your two step verification is not active." even though it is. If you proceed to click on the two step verification, it then erases you verification email address, wipes out your registered security keys, and of course locks you out of your account. That is what had occurred in the first account, so i was not going to be tricked twice.
how did you get to the part where google sends you a mail to reset your password?
@@bobb7350 After the ridiculous number of things that I had tried to simply get account access once again, I don't recall the details of how I got that far. The only residue left is the email that I hung on to. Actually, I have two emails that were sent to me since I had tried the same routing twice. Sorry about that. Memory is not one of my strong points.

Hear me out real quick. So I’m trying to login to my account, I put the correct password, and it tells me that it doesn’t recognize my account. I was given the option to use my phone number for verification, but it’s an old one that I don’t use anymore. I’m frustrated because it won’t ask me to use my recovery email that I have complete access to, and that I know is linked to this account. Is there any way to make this option appear?
Try waiting 1 week without logging in or attempting AR. You may be asked for your recovery email then.

Very nice. But i keep getting "Could'nt verify this account is yours", whatever i do. No 6 digit code or nothing. Same device, same browser. Visited all the google help pages and stuff....
That means account has been banned, probably for inactivity, when you are not on that mail for 2 years, they ban it

@@xxbxhxbxbx8981 So you don't know your current password? When it asks you for your "last" password make sure you enter the previous password not the current one.

I recovered my account, changed password and when I go to log in with the new password it just keeps coming back to sign in for verification again and again.

Try watching the video and when the person starts listing off all his "SUGGESTIONS", maybe try jotting them down with pen & paper , and then after the video, please attempt the suggestions, (remember they're suggestions only.... he's merely making some basic suggestions- that probably most encounter.... anything other than that.... well, figure it out. ..) google does have a wonderful help section... multiple ones in fact, most tailored to your liking...... I keep getting this problem I don’t know my password or the last password been watching many vids on this and people say answer the questions google ask you ,what questions I don’t get given any questions they just send me to a help page that is no help at all.some people also get a form so you can describe what the problem is I don’t get neither.
What do you know about your account? If you don't know the current pass, the last pass, recovery phone number, and recovery email. Then it is unlikely Google will ever be able to verify that the account belongs to you as the Account Recovery systems uses an AI and not a human.
Hi, nice video. I got the Recovery Email and the right password to my google account. However, since I moved, and it has been almost 1 year for not logging into it. Recently, when I try to login with correct password and correct Google Verification Code from my login email. My login email and Recovery Email is the same. But every time, after we input all the information the google require, the page will go back to "google couldn't verify this account belongs to you, pls try later or try other device". Pls help, thanks a lot.
Hi there, it's impossible for your recovery email to be the same as your google account login details. Do you see your recovery email hinted at?

Or are you being asked for a Contact Email? These are two different things.

The reason for lo..ing seems to be removing one file from Drive and removing many em..ls; maybe also using a mobile Internet so for almost every login, my IP address was different.
Who knows the previous password set. Google are really pissing me off. It’s only on safari where I can’t login. Other browsers are fine. What’s that all about.

Well obviously I believe we are all here because we DOn't KNOW or REMEMBER our last password.....so how silly is it from google to ask that question!!!??? I tried another way it asked for my hs mascot I put in the correct one and it still says they couldn't not verify that this account belongs to me!!!
Try waiting a minimum of 28 days, this may allow the unusual/suspicious activity flags to clear allowing you to access your account without any further verification required.
