Vince is a pervert but its was all consentual . If yoh think about it how many college football and b ball coaches would also be disgraced if only 10% of the girls who were paid 100 or 200 bucks to " show him a good time "by the coach with a wink when a prized recruit made a recruiting trip to their college came forward? 1000 maybe ? . The girl is a hooker with rhe only difference being instead of vince paying her she was getting paid by rhe wwe , obviously a big corporate no no .

He got out of an assault rap in a bar fight by saying the guy made it homosexual advances at him. I do believe though that Vince repeatedly abused his power to gain sexual benefits from his employees . This dates way back to the 80s where a female referee claimed many of the same things. Considering McMahon already knew everything about her -- he would have even had her SSN and everything -- and that he wielded SO MUCH power over her, it's easy to see why she'd feel unsafe angering him or even just ghosting him and trying to disappear. He could just find her and utterly destroy her life even further. Def. a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" situation, and sad no matter how you look at it.

@@bd4947 Nice. People are pointing out that while this is a civil case, Vinny Mac embezzled money illegally from WWE to pay for illegal contracts covering up illegal activities, which all of it is across state lines, not to mention a host of other felonies too long to mention...and that is the current federal case he was raided over, which he will catch indictments over. Secondly, civil has no impact on criminal, even without discovery, Janel was nice enough to openly provide everything a new FBI investigation would require, from the DOJ's standpoint.
Since there cannot be a second NDA to illegally cover up the illegal activities of the first NDA, then we know regardless of what settlement Vinny Mac may offer, it cannot contemplate, expressly or implied, that there be an NDA involved.
Do remember...this only touches one of the females so far, and doesn't touch the sham WWE sale civil suit, with very possible criminal suits to come out of that.

The guy who started it, the guy who ran it for decades, the guy who was the hottest heel in WWE in the Attitude Era, etc. The voice of the company of tons of shows in the 80s. Nobody is more tattooed over WWE than him. Benoit was an easy guy to scrub by comparison.

Yes Vince is powerful and yes he has one helluva attorney. That has gotten him out of legal situations over the years anyone else would have been convicted of. HOWEVER, the more women who come forward will ultimately prove his guilt in all of this. One girl isn't going to get it done. But as i've been listening to other wrestlers/talent that have talked about this case. It's only the TIP of the iceberg for him right now. I would be shocked if this isn't the opening that other women or even men need to come forward with there own personal accounts of abuse. And THAT will be his undoing. No matter how strong is attorney is. The fact that a huge sponsor like Slim Jim has already pulled out is quite telling. You wonder how many others will. And without that financial backing he will be utterly screwed and rightfully so. However, Vince put himself in this situation know one else. He's a dirty bastard that is finally getting caught after all this time. In fact, i'll go so far as to say he's no better than Trump in terms of his ego and power trip attitude. He thinks he can evade the law and is invincible. I think this could be his next steroid scandal case in terms of size. And this is one i don't think he'll escape from so easily. I see more people coming forward after this individual without question. It's ironic to me that so many want to work for this company. And then after say 3-5yrs of being there are just so fed up with the politics and other shit that they can't really talk about while they are there. Then when they go and do a shoot interview they vent about how nasty the conditions were. I mean you can clearly see it's almost cathartic for them to get it off there chest talking about it. I'm not saying other wrestling companies don't have there own BS they are dealing with. But so many talents i've talked with in my 30yrs of watching and being a part of this business on the indy scene. Share the same sentiments about how happy they are once they are back on the independents. So that's saying a lot about a company as "A WHOLE". Which isn't going to bode well for them long term. And i believe Paul is right this is only the beginning of the shit storm to come. I also feel that the only way to EFFECTIVELY take care of this shit. Is for the fans to boycott and not go to the shows. Why would you take your family to a company that does this. I mean you continue to buy tickets which basically means your supporting a company that believes in proselytizing and raping women...? C'mon folks get a fuckin clue...!!!

The original leak almost a year ago said Vince was paying millions of dollars in hush money to multiple women, one of whom was an outside legal consultant. This was because Khan (no not that Khan) had discovered all these fraudulent paychecks. It now looks like it was mostly this one woman and Vince hid her by moving her around to different non-existent jobs like outside legal consultant. If so, that is totally illegal. He was using company money, not his own. As far as sex-trafficing, it seems like the "victim" was paid millions of dollars over that period so it will be a bit difficult to sell that as a felony. It makes a good story and his and Linda's ties to Trump will be repeated and kept in the news until the election. But otherwise he at most will be charged with misusing company funds and will pay a lot of money in reimbursement and fines. They don't send 80 year old billionaires to prison.

@@SM-BSW But she was in her 40's when this happened and was clearly able to make a reasonable decision to willingly leave. The consequences of leaving are not worse than staying. She received significant pay in her unearned, fake positions (so the consequences you mention were not monetary), and if Vince paid her the full 3m for the NDA we likely would not even have a legal case right now. I dont understand how she could expect to continue her career tragectary elsewhere in director roles when she was clearly incapable of performing those roles. As an adult she was obviously comlicit to a certain degree over the 3 years following her many received gifts etc. She allowed these things to happen to her and surely has some degree of responsibility also.

@Cafe de Rene with Rene Dupree to be quite honest with you, that sounds like Deminata, (but this is still bad no matter what.) As a former brother, (got out of wrestling back in 2013, and did some charity shows.) But we all heard of the most unrealistic thing that Vince is as a human being. You are right that if this goes to trail, Jerry McDivits, (sorry if I misspelled Vince's lawyers name.) But they will try everything in the book to say it was conseanual, and that it was about the NDA, not getting paid. I do feel that Vince as a promoter has done a lot, but also have screwed with a lot of people in the business. I can only imagine about the girls in the business. I can only wonder of Stephanie, and Hunter's family since they have daughters. I can only imagine any right human being just being just beyond shocked, but not really if you know Vince lol. So I can really tell that this is really affecting a lot of people. Like I said on smaller indie shows, and for different shows I have seen stuff to where I stepped in and told other people to stop, and they would try to "get big on me" yet I just started out in 2010. I am not going say who that person was because he was in that "Me too scandle" so he got what he deserved. But the point I am making, or saying is that you don't know people behind closed doors, and it's a shame that this will be the legacy for Vince, but honestly, he deserved worst.
