I believe it was actually Quick Draw Rick McGraw. They briefly tagged and had a couple of jobber wins together before McGraw's untimely death. Back then, to cover up his rampant use of roids and placidyl, they said he had an aneurysm. In the later years it was revealed to have been a heart attack caused by complications from the placidly & steroids.

The rumors were out in the '80s when I was a kid. My friend's father was on about from someone he knew in the business.
Ironically, this story will put over Rene as a podcaster the more it all drags on.
Again, when I went to Wrestling school back in 1991 or 1992, this was no secret. I met Renee Goulet when I was going to Wrestling school after a WWE show at Hersheypark Arena and he creeped me out. The fact is, my Wrestling school trainer talked about this all of the time. About Pat Patterson and a lot of people up there who were using their power to do whatever they wanted to do. Obviously, it was under Vince McMahon… Because he let them get away with it, knowing what they were doing.
After reading the texts, I’m sure he was participating in a lot of of it. When you have so much money that you don’t know what to do with and you’ve done everything you want to do and become bored with it… You start looking for things to do that you shouldn’t. Power becomes the only trip you have left in order to make people do what you want them to do, because they want some of what you have.
It’s ridiculous how this is surprising any professional wrestler of the 80s, 90s and 2000s… I’ll never know. Maybe they just didn’t have enough interaction with Vince in the office in order to Experience it. But, this was absolutely no secret.
In think that this Vince situation opened the door for all these dark secrets an rumors surrounding wwe everyone it's breaking his silence and started to talk.

I don't get why people always think Roma buried Powers in other interviews as it pertains to his willingness to participate in this activity. Roma may blame Powers speaking up for setting back their careers, but he's always said that Powers was propositioned and said no.

Roma may have been talking about Jerry Allen from New Haven.. I remember reading online that he slipped on ice and hit his head and passed away. I got his autograph in Halifax in 1988 and he was a great guy.

I think early on in his career Paul Roma teamed sporadically with Jerry Allen as enhancement talent. Allen died at age 33 I think of a heart attack but there were mixed reports initially that he was killed after slipping on ice and hitting his head on a car causing internal bleeding. Might be a long shot.

When the original allegations against Vince came out I did say that I felt a 'me too' style situation was coming. I didn't imagine it would include these kinds of allegations though. This is taking twists and turns that even M. Night Shyamalan wouldn't see coming. Jokes aside, this is such an awful, horrific situation that is unfolding. We don't know what is true and what isn't but with so many allegations from so many different sources, I would imagine there is truth to a good amount of this.

I knew about the steroid trials etc but not this. Every day it seems more stories are surfacing and more people with their own experiences are speaking out. It's truly horrific
Roma wrestled with Salvatore Marino when he 1st got there. But, Marino died of cancer. He also tagged with SD Jones, who had a stroke.

I don't know who Roma is talking about because Hercules passed from heart disease but well after his WWE time. He did a brief run with S.D. Jones but he passed in 08 and Jim Powers I believe is still alive. So maybe it was his very early time in WWE but I have no clue who Roma is talking about it.
