    I'm ready to go back to henna after frying my mostly grey hair to blonde. I used burgundy henna for 5 yrs, but decided to go magenta, lol. Now it's mushroom blonde & I don't think I look good as a blonde. I found henna to fully cover my grey, too. Only draw back I found is if you use it alot, it builds on itself and the lower ends get darker as opposed to new growth.

    Thanks for sharing this product in your video. I've been using it for years because it's pretty easy and not so complicated to use. It's so less toxic for us and the environment. It's a win-win!

      Hey! 2 days later, I've painted with the Dark Brown Rainbow Henna and the results are amazing! It was hard to spread the henna in the hair evenly (I think I was my approach that was bad) so I used a bit more than needed but definitely still have more than enough for a second time 😊 I don't have grey hair so I only added the coffee because I wanted a deep dark brown (I avoided the apple vinegar because I know from experience it dries my hair). Ah and it doesn't paint the skin, so don't worry if it gets on your face and neck 😊 but the smell is super strong specially the 2 hours after showering, it fades. Hope it helps anyone!

    I love using Henna and have been using it for years now . I use this brand and also “The Henna Guys” . I learned how to mix it from a TH-cam video they posted . They have pure henna and then another packet with indigo brown that you apply after . I think it works out better for me because I like the darker color and it does great at covering my white hairs . I also add salt and pure coffee grounds to my henna mix to help it stick on longer

      It's a good Q.
      From my own experience my sister usually
      helps me to coloring my hair about last 3 years because I can't to do by my self I can't see behinde all process.
      so she usually color my hair at night at 8-10pm when it's over I put on shower cap some old towel drive home (about 3-4 miles). on the pillow a big thick old towel to sleeping all night (6-8 hrs)smell is not good but for a good process because on my hair all natural ingredients.
      in the morning I just wash with warm water without shampoo or conditioner. I wait for 3-4 days then I wash 1st time with shampoo.
      all girls say to me my color is nice covered all grey hair.
      I use Rainbow henna medium brown(chestnut)from New season $9-10
      my sister add to henna a 6-8oz of grounded broowed coffee(she brings it from Africa she is travel there every 6 months because she and her friends they are missionaries so she said this coffee is 150 % pure and organic)then
      add about 5drops of jojoba oil + 5drops of vit. E oil. all the time 2 kind of oil. but we are like to experiments on next time she add
      5 drops of peppermint oil+ bergamot oil or lavender
      oil or grapeseeds oli or olive oil.....every time she put a new oil for to see a result of color and which oil will helps to fast growing hair.
      cover up with plastic wrap so tide then cover with extra on.it is take a process to mix together
      about 3-4 hrs then I arrive in old t-shirt.old towels.my hair is wash little wet.on my forehead,
      neck I put a baby cream or Vaseline because henna once colored my face a lot some spots was on my face neck for a week. color stay at list 1- 1.5 months depend what season. everyday I take a 2-3 capsules of "Biotin" 5.000mcg 120 veg.capsules
      red bottle from Tr.joes $9 it's helps me because I loosing a lot of hair when I colored my hair at hair salon and used bad shampoos(not chip shampoo)
      p.s.
      some girls add a tea nice english
      dark tea like Twinnings
      Earl grey tea with bergamot(Walmart).some takes a couple beets make juice in the food processor or juice maker it's so good and healthy for hair too but color will be like a auburn or mahogany

    What to do if the colour of the henna does not appear on our hair?

    • @TisiSandoval
      @TisiSandoval  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The henna will be green on your hair while it is dying. Once you rinse it, it should be the color of the henna you purchased. Depending on what chemicals you have put in your hair in the past, the color could come out different.

    • @claremurphy12
      @claremurphy12 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Kismet morning-I bravely went for it 3 months ago, it was very bold on my features and I felt too strong for me to pull it off, so I put herbatint blonde over it and that utterly dried out my poor hair-my mistake- so I got it cut very short and applied argan oil daily to restore health and softness, which has worked, so I’m now at 3 months regrowth.
      I found henna tricky to apply evenly by myself. It works for some women, not for me.
      The experience satisfied my curiosity though-and I’m happier with my natural colour.

    It looks great! I also want to stop using chemical dyes for my gray! I just ordered dark brown henna by Rainbow- my question is does your hair look really red when you go outside? Somebody told me henna has a natural red tone in it and that i should use indigo mixed in. Your hair on your video seems dark but now im confused. What are your thoughts. TIA

    • @TisiSandoval
      @TisiSandoval  7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      +Dawn Jennings my hair did not have any red tones in it when I dyed it with the dark brown rainbow henna. My extensions do have red tones, but they already had a red tone before I dyed them with henna. I heard that same thing too. Most of my Gray hair, which is mostly white is around my forehead, and when I dye it with henna, it comes out a little bit lighter brown than the rest of my hair. Other than that it works perfect. I really love it, I'm getting ready to touch my roots up with the henna today.

I will let you know how it goes. 😊
