    Thanks Jeff..... done tons of Showa, KYB, and Kayaba stuff, but getting ready to revalve my 990 and delve into the WP world. I'll order up the cap tool here next week.

    How often do you find different thickness of spacer under the cap? I just changed my springs and the right leg had a much thicker spacer than the left. After measuring the springs one is shorter than the other, these were stock springs from 2016 500 exc. I didn't measure the replacement springs I got from Slavens Racing, should they be the same length or can they vary a minor amount, up to 8mm or so? Manual says length of spring and spacers should be 510mm so I guess I should go for that length.

    2017 690 Enduro, don’t have holes on top of my fork caps.
    Do these rules apply to those forks as well?

    Can you recommend a valve stack to help make the older '01 WP OC 43mm forks more plush?

    If I have the older style open chamber without the 4 pins (04 exc 250) is the cap removed by the large nut on top? Is the rest of the spring swap the same?

    My rebound adjuster keeps spinning clockwise. I think that I don't have enough threads on top. Thank you.

    Do I need to revalve my forks when putting a heavier spring in them or will the heavier springs be ok with what's in there already?

    • @slaverace1
      @slaverace1  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Griffith Racing Team
      The stock valving is mediocre and it will remain mediocre with stiffer springs.
