I love Port orleans, my husband proposed while we did a carriage ride at Riverside and we stayed at French Quarter. I love French Quarter! Staying at French Quarter in a couple weeks.
My daughter worked at both resorts during her Disney College Program! It’s so peaceful and beautiful. We have stayed in both resorts….I think riverside with a room by the water is amazing! AND thanks for talking about the boat ride to Disney springs….the BEST Disney transportation by far!!! Thanks Mr Morrow for happy memories
My husband and I stayed at Magnolia Bend and absolutely loved it. We had a special Princess room and the headboard lit up and had fireworks. Love! Love! Love Riverside
My husband and I have stayed at The French Quarter a couple of times…we loved it. Stayed at a couple other resorts but The French Quarter was our favourite. Had beignets for breakfast every day. 😋. This resort is beautiful and very peaceful. 💙
Nate your video yesterday gave me an idea for a video, the nooks and crannies of the parks. The area you were at behind the castle with the wishing well is an area many might miss, showing those types of areas in the parks like showing eating in the alley at Universal Studios, or the "quiet areas" of the parks would make a fun video!
I've had a picnic at the little gazebo on the dock on Tom Sawyer Island a few times, Park would be full but that area had nobody around and seemed like I had the park to myself...
You are the best and a great guy what is your most favorite thing to have over Holidays celebrate this is your Quick Question all the fun time at Disney video touch my heart ❤️💗 really like it so much this is Jenna Dabao
Nate - there are so many cool things to notice at Disney's French Quarter Resort: The street names appear on both the posts AND on the pavement. The reason is that it's not unusual for Partiers in New Orleans to crawl home after a night of drinking. The doors are also painted different colors for the same reason. It's easier to recognize the color of the door instead of its number. By the way, my favorite street name there is the "Rue D'Baga." I'm so pleased that you found the Frog fountain. It's my favorite ❤️. And before I forget, in Jackson Square, they have several dancers above the display cabinets. The odd thing is that they are only visible from the waist down. The upper parts of their bodies are supposedly up on the next floor. I know that these figures are just another part of New Orleans' many stories. And in conclusion, I can hardly wait for Mardi Gras 2022. I've no doubt that Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter will bring back their Mardi Gras Parade. Thanks again for your video Nate You ROCK!!!
Nate, Thank you for sharing, we love to stay at the French Quarter we so enjoy this Resort. We came back from WDW & stayed at the Art of Animation & did not care for it - it is just too big for us whereas the FQ is just our speed. The food & the beignets are the best! And thanks again.
My son is 2 and your biggest fan! He absolutely loves watching all of your videos.Lots of times he chooses them over his cartoons. Thanks so much for sharing the magic and bringing a smile to his face :)
I love French Quarter of all WDW resorts because it’s small and intimate but staying at Riverside in December so my 6 year old twin girls can stay in a princess Tiana room .We stayed in Magnolia Bend once and enjoyed the boat ride, excellent quick service, proximity to French Quarter, great running or walking paths. Only drawback is multiple bus stops.
Hey Nate! We stayed at Riverside in 2007 in Alligator Bayou. We loved everything about it, including the smaller individual pool near the room. We could just step outside our room and swim. It was great for lunch breaks from the parks We brought fishing poles and razor scooters to zip around on. The rogue fishing may not be allowed any more, but it was awesome at the time! But we didn't even know about the beignets until more recently. We have been craving them since! They will be a "must do" on our next trip!
Oh man, I’m so happy to see French Quarter reopen! That’s where I stayed in 2019 for my first WDW trip. It’ll always have a special place in my heart. Thank you for doing a lovely vlog about this area. Made my day! 💜💛💚
How many resort in France Quarter I need to know all about it this is Jenna Dabao I am in the restaurant working this afternoon I living here early Bird waking up watching the sunset go down had a great 👍👍 day have a Disney fun
I've stayed at French Quarter and love the Mickey beignets! We had a lovely room and enjoyed being able to take the boat transportation to various places. Great resort!
Thank you so much Nate. Your videos are the favorite part of my day. Love your happy and joyful personality. Really grateful for you! Hope you have a great week ❤️
That was wonderful to watch! Thank you for the scenic tour and delicious tastings. We haven't been to Port Orleans since way back in the late 80s when our children were young. Wow. How different it looks from what I recall. Thank you for an enjoyable travelogue! Stay well and safe!
Hey Nate, just wanted to say this video brought me so much joy and excitement. I loved it. I love the POFQ resort. We always stay and after so long being away it was so so nice to see it. Keep making awesome videos buddy! You bring us all so much happiness. Thank you.
We honeymooned at Dixie Landings in 1995 and we just booked a quick stay in January for my husband’s 50th birthday! We are DVC members so we haven’t stayed here since our honeymoon. We’re so excited - it is a beautiful and peaceful resort ❤️
Lunch with Nate! 🤗 I love the French Quarter! Love that you can take the boat right to Disney Springs. 🤣 that beignet that touched the table? I prob would have eaten it 🤣🤣🤣
As a native New Orleanian it looks like they did a great job! I love how the big chandelier looks like the beads in the trees around here during the Mardi Gras season. Not quite sure about that gumbo and jambalaya but everything else felt like home!⚜️
Oh the memories. I have never stayed at any of the resorts except Port Orleans French Quarter ( haven't been since 1999) I would so love to go back. Love the Christmas decorations :)
Hi from England! Thank you for bringing back some lovely memories for us. We stayed at Riverside in February 2020 for the first time and absolutely loved it! We were in the alligator bayou. So beautiful. I'm so craving beignets now 😋 can't wait to go back!
We have stayed in both of the Port Orleans Resorts several times. French Quarter holds a special spot in our hearts since it was one of the Disney resorts we stayed at for our honeymoon. However, we love the Magnolia Bend area of Riverside and stayed in one if the Princess rooms back in 2016. Those Princess rooms are extra special and worth the extra money. I TOTALLY AGREE with you about French Quarter having the best quick service food area compared to then resorts. We love going there (especially in the fall & winter) for lunch or dinner abs then we walk it off along the walkway by the River that connects to Riverside. These 2 resorts are highly underrated in my opinion. I’m ready for sone jambalaya and beignets after watching this!!! 😂 Great video as always Nate!!

😎👍 Always enjoyed my stays at Riverside's Magnolia Bend with the nice rooms and landscaping. Plus, its close proximity to a quiet pool, bus stop, boat launch, dining options, and more made it an ideal spot.
My husband and I have stayed there a couple of times, the last time was 7 years ago on our honeymoon. The first time was when it was still two resorts, Port Orleans and Dixie Landings. Both times we stayed at the Magnolia section. I loved it and it’s more affordable, than the premium resorts!
Riverside Alligator Bayou is my happy place. We always stay there over any resort. Because of the pandemic we haven't been able to get to Port Orleans from Canada and even though I watch your videos everyday I couldn't watch this one because it made me so sad! I miss this place so much. It is where so many memories have been had between me and my family.
I love how respectful you are. Not wanting to show too much of the pool because people were in there is really thoughtful. I would hate to think 100,000+ people could see me in my bikini without my knowledge when all I want to do is laze around a pool and relax.
We love Port Orleans Riverside. Our next trip will be POFQ. The boat ride to Disney Springs is what seals the deal for us. So relaxing and convenient. Great content Nate!
Stayed at FQ on our 20th anniversary. Took the boat to Springs. The boat driver saw our anniversary buttons and sang the Love Boat theme to us! It was magical😊
We are so bummed that we missed you! I see our window decorations at 14:53. We did the Mickey balloons in all three of our windows. Thank you so much for keeping us updated on everything going on at Disney World. It made our trip so much more enjoyable. And per your Mom and sister’s advice we did the Formage Montage and it was so good.
Thank you so much for this video! My husband and I are headed there in January staying at Port Orleans French quarter and now I’m even more excited after watching your video. This was actually the first resort I ever stayed at the first time I went to Disney so I’m excited to return there!! Love your videos!!😊
I love seeing all the resorts they look so fun I would love to try mickey beignets they look delicious lol Bobby boushey waterboy thx for another cool video
My wife and I went to stay in LA at the real French Quarter. Stayed a week. Omg it was amazing. The resort does capture it well. Many homeless. But they were respectful if you respected them. Food was the real thing. Shrimp and grits. Gator. Snake meat. Turtle. You name it, they ate it. Don't drink any more. But did enough bar hooping to last a life time. Music amazing. Just a town where you could never get bored.
Riverside is my favorite resort. I've stayed in the magnolia bend area twice, the last time in a royal room with a river view. It was amazing! Stayed once in alligator bayou and loved that as well, just a completely different feel to that area.
I am watching this and so excited! We are finally headed back to Port Orleans, Riverside and DisneyWorld tomorrow night. It’s been 7 years. We are binging all your recent videos, and my nephews also found you, You have definitely helped us plan this trip. Thank you so much for these!
We stayed at the Alligator Bayou a few times. Always enjoyed our stay there. The one time we took a boat ride back to Port Orleans from Downtown Disney after watching an improv comedy show at Pleasure Island. This is one of my favorite vlogs you've done.
We just stayed there in a Royal Guest Room in Oct! Looking forward to being back and try the Mickey beignets! Riverside was the first-ever Disney property as adults we stayed at in college (at that time it was called Dixie Landings)!
You have perfect timing as usual. Stuck on an online training for work that really doesn’t pertain to my job SO I’m gonna watch this instead. Enjoy the beignets!
HEY, LOOK! It’s my family smooshing beignets in our face! Thanks for taking a break in your busy shooting schedule to stop by our table and say hello. It was so incredibly cool to meet you, Nate. Keep the content coming
Thanks for the great video! We are staying at POFQ for the first time in 2022 and can’t wait! My husband, who doesn’t care much about Disney (gasp!), even knows who Nate is and enjoys watching your videos with me, thanks for what you do and being you!
Hi there Mr. Morrow! I just wanted to say how much I enjoy this type of video that you do 🙂 I enjoy all of your videos but you walking around this resort and grabbing some food and sharing it with us..this video made me feel cosy and I just really love it thank you 🙂
Port Orleans Riverside is our favorite resort. The pool, resort store, fishing, entertainment, activities, and the food court and lounges. These all get high rating from us. We usually stay at Magnolia Bend. Thanks Nate!
My wife and I along with our then aged 3 and 4 children stayed at POR way back in 1996 when it was named Dixie Landings. We absolutely loved it, especially the kids. Ol" man island swimming pool was their favorite. Over twenty five years later we are coming back (minus the now 28 and 29 yr olds) to finally stay at POFQ. The video brought back some great memories and has me super excited to come back in February.
Most people would turn to Contemporary or Grand Floridian or even Art of Animation. I’m glad I got to witness this beautiful resort! Which side do you prefer? Riverside or French Quarter?
I'm hopefully (as long as there's no snow from here to Philly airport) heading to French Quarter for a mommy-daughter weekend in January. She loves art so I thought we'd take an extra day over MLK weekend and head to the Festival of the Arts. Plus it's right before my birthday so I can grab some birthday beignets!
I've stayed at Riverside and French Quarter twice each - I think it's overall my favorite resort! Especially at Riverside it's just so peaceful if you're not right near the main building or main pool.
Hi Nate ,my husband and I our visiting from uk and staying at riverside next February for a belated 25th wedding anniversary, thankyou for showing us around really looking forward to it x
French Quarter is the easiest to get around, and the jazz music in the lobby is very cool. They used to make the beignets in the food court, and that was always a treat. Now they moved them over to Scat Cats. Riverside is really beautiful, with the stately mansions, and the water mill at the food court. We had a corner room that faced the water, so we could see the boats go by. The boats to Disney Springs are very peaceful. They glide past the Treehouse Villas at Saratoga Springs. But the trip back at night is a little creepy in the dark. Really reminds you of the bayou. Yep, these resorts have a lot to offer, and they’re quite unique. Two of my favorites.
We always favored French Quarter side n stayed once Riverside...came w my Mom either Halloween week her birthday n Christmas week...my Mom wouldn't stay anywhere else. ...we loved the quaint quiet..beautiful property.. we took horse carriage ride at sunset for her birthday...we loved the boat ride in back to Disney Springs...my Florida relatives would meet us at the hotel n take the boat beautiful ride over to Disney Springs n spend whole day visiting w them...so convenient...loved beignets..our room was above big pool by the huge King Neptune slide close to main lobby n buses...very convenient for everyone...many great memories there...we loved hearing the ladies in the Bakery area ring the overhead clang bell when the beignets were made n ready to buy...
This was the relaxing video from you I was looking for! I had no idea this resort was even there! My sister in law loves new Orleans but to old to go, she's so looking forward to this cause she lives in Orlando!! So beautiful

I've stayed at Riverside and French Quarter twice each - I think it's overall my favorite resort! Especially at Riverside it's just so peaceful if you're not right near the main building or main pool.
This is the first resort I ever stayed at and one of the most amazing resorts
We stayed at riverside. We loved it. So many things to do there. We did the Surrey bike and the carriage ride. It was so cool.
Fantastic video !! I’ve stayed at both and really enjoy these Resorts
Great video nate love port Orleans! I haven’t had beignets since Universal Mardi Gras . I think we need a trip there .
