    Hi Vince,
    Finally found your video, nice setup. Thank you for producing a video on how to set up the gimbal. Can you please add some specs about you quad. If possible can you please share the st files for the 3D printer. Thank You.

    That rocker button really needs replacing with one with more movement. So close to getting it right but falling short from from a single operator perspective.

    I don't know much about cameras but I'd rather have the zoom linked to the short and long presses and use the wheel to tilt the gimbal. Wonder why the designers didn't include two wheels? FAIL!

    Hi, can you please provide the simpleBGC32 PID values or the profile file? That would be an amazing baseline for me since my controller doesnt autotune

    Hello friend! I have a problem connecting the same equipment to the PIXHAWK flight controller. More precisely, I connected it correctly, the video from the copter is displayed, the control channels are correctly displayed in ardupilot, but the telemetry in the form of batteries, satellites and everything else is not transmitted to the remote control, the remote does not see Pixhawk. at the same time, Pixhawk itself sees the remote control on SBS. it seems that I did not correctly set the telem or mavlink port settings. Please tell me what settings I could have missed, or maybe there are screenshots of the settings?

      It’s a Sony A5100. All the Sony Alpha range are small and light but the 5000 series are the smallest.

    Great effort dude.
    Why not put zoom on a switch and gimbal pos on the wheel?

    • @vincehogg8935
      @vincehogg8935  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Zoom could be on a switch but would only go the value set by the PWM, not analogue movement. The wheel is self centering so the gimbal would return to the middle if released. 'Speed mode' (as opposed to absolute position mode) on the SimpleBGC could be used but is not available when connected via serial. The current firmware on the herelink is frustratingly limited. The promised Solex firmware still seems a long way off. Its becoming a serious issue now.

    • @vincehogg8935
      @vincehogg8935  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The herelink is basically a communication system which interfaces with your flight controller via sbus and serial (telem) so works fine with previous pixhawk - as far as I know.

    I am considering this system as the AIO rc/data/video link for an inspection drone I am in the the middle of building. Thus far most of the work my company has done has been in mapping/survey and real estate. However it is time to expand into the inspection sector and I was seriously considering this system both because of cost and ease of use as far as working with clients its all in a neat little package. Brass tax, would you buy this system for that application or find another video downlink solution and keep the RC on something like my Taranis? Any help is greatly appreciated man. Cheers

      Flight Therapy **BullisticFPV** well I love it and hate it. Hardware is great simple solution with excellent range and connectivity but..........I bought it about a year ago and it still had beta firmware and was very limited for camera controls. We were promised the ‘Solex’ version will be released any day. We are still waiting and owners are getting angry. Check the cubepilot forum - herelink or Solex threads for latest.

      @@vincehogg8935 I just got onto the cubepilot forum and was able to get some of my questions answered. Thanks so much for the reply man it is super helpful and i really appreciate it. Time is of the essence with this particular build and im wondering if you would recommend any HD downlink alternatives to the Herelink? I have found many systems but they all seem to have terribly mixed reviews.

      To get the gimbal to talk to the pixhawk can be a challenge. As mentioned in vid, Im using SimpleBGC32 from basecam. I have it connected via serial to the telem2 port (TX/RX) on the pixhawk. There are a lot of things to get exactly correct for them to talk. The BGC manual has all the info.
