Love this video, believe me or not but triggering the camera and doing this within specific GPS coordinates ain't that easy task.
Thanks again Lee for all your great work, share my thanks with Ben please.

    I got some problem. 😅
my camera triggered in certain interval when I deactivate the safety switch and got no respond when I activate the safety switch.
I have no idea what's wrong with my setup.

Fine video with a lot information... As i understand you can remote control the camera thigering. Pixhawk has very fine gps data and thus it would be possible to geotagging the pictures., saving the gps position within the picture-file. A mobile camera can do such a thing. I have read that you by some postprocessing of a pixhawk log and the picture can insert geotages. The fine solution would be direct inserting geotages, when the picture is taken. The camera should in some way direct connected to the pixhawk. (and support in pixhawk)

Yep, you can geotag images and even connect them into a 3D colour model of the area..

Good day, this module work only with big cameras or can work also with small actions cam like firefly...gopro..runcam and small fpv drone cameras?

    • @Painless360

The triggers are camera specific so you'll need to find one for the camera you'll use...

Each camera seems to have its own trigger so I'd check the 3DXR website for what they've got.. Best of luck!

So I've been working on a platform to go real long distance.
I've been working on something that will work from the aircraft down instead of a ground station up.
I'm calling it an antenna pointer or "TrakPoint" instead of antenna tracker...
Haven't decided if it's worth selling but there is, I think, a super easy way to do it.
I believe there used to be an option available with pixhawk that allowed you to control a gimbal with a camera and have it always point to one point like, I don't know, HOME maybe?
    Anybody know about this feature?
Yeah it is these two high-gain antennas 180chan have the aircraft be able to point its antenna back towards the ground station.

@@Painless360 Hi Painless, I really appreciate this masterclass video. I am in the middle of building a Tarot T960 Hex for photogrammetry. I've been debating over which version of pixhawk to purchase. The 2.1 Cube seems to tick all the boxes, but I've heard that it uses poorer IMU accelerometers than the original pixhawk! The Pixhawk 4 from holybro looks nice, but it's supposedly no longer open source? I read these rumors on the forums. If you had to choose a pixhawk version (regardless of cost) which would you get?

Great video as always! I previously found a video on how to make a trigger cable for sony camera, and it works great with my Sony A7. Here is the link: th-cam.com/video/LB-Mn4ctkWg/w-d-xo.html
