    2025 Model Y Juniper’s Mind-Blowing Power: 600 Miles Range, 10 Mins Charging, 3 All-New Battery
Tesla's ambitions with the 2024 Model 3 Ludicrous have set a high bar, leaving the current Model Y potentially overshadowed. But this competitive landscape fuels anticipation surrounding the Model Y Juniper's rumored enhancements in efficiency and range. With input from Elon Musk and battery suppliers like CATL, Tesla seems poised to deliver a Model Y Juniper that not only surpasses its predecessor but also competes vigorously against other Tesla models. The promise of enhanced performance and extended range begs the question: What will these improvements entail, and how will they impact pricing for consumers? Join us as we delve into these insights in today's video.
    2025 Model Y Juniper’s Mind-Blowing Power: 600 Miles Range, 10 Mins Charging, 3 All-New Battery
How is Tesla Advancing Battery Technology for the Model Y Juniper to Enhance Range and Efficiency?
The 2170 round cell battery, which is used in Tesla''s recent variants of the Model Y, faces challenges primarily related to energy density and performance optimization. Model Y's upgraded "Rear-Wheel Drive" version can achieve an extended range of up to 455 kilometers (about 282 miles) per charge, utilizing the 2170 round cell battery similar to the all-wheel drive models.
    2025 Model Y Juniper’s Mind-Blowing Power: 600 Miles Range, 10 Mins Charging, 3 All-New Battery
The 2170 round cell batteries, while effective in delivering range and performance, have limitations in terms of energy density compared to newer battery technologies. These batteries may have an energy density of around 250 watt-hour per kilogram to 300 watt-hour per kilogram
Therefore, Tesla's upcoming Model Y Juniper is poised to revolutionize electric vehicle battery technology with three potential battery configurations.

600 mile range would be worth the more money! That would make long trips a no brainer.

Tell me about it! Which battery type will you choose among those 3?

Thank you for the video. I think CATL Shenxing battery will be mind blowing if Tesla uses it in Model Y Juniper. If CATL reduces cost of LFP battery by %50 and Tesla uses it in model Y juniper, there will be no additional cost for new model even there are additional tech and design improvements ! I like LFP batteries since you can charge them up to %100 without capacity problem and there is no fire risk for LFP batteries. Lets see what Tesla will do ! Can’t keep waiting for 2025 ! I am also waiting for Model Y Juniper to own a Tesla !

400 kms in 10 minutes. That will end range anxiety

Battery choice depends on cost. 600/1000 mile/km sounds great, but how often are you going to need that much range? You can get that in some diesel cars now but you rarely run from 100% full to nearly empty so it may not be a good use of money. A 400 mile battery that charges quickly would probably suit most peoples needs. What wasn't mentioned in the video is that LFP batteries can be used from 0-100% and not jus the 20-80% range that is good practice on current NMC batteries.

I think everyone already know the fact that LFP can be charge to 100%, so I don't mention it here. But as you said, 400 miles with quick charging is enough, but some people want EV to match up with diesel car, and China already produce 600 miles car, so Tesla has to keep up with this. It is competition.

If Tesla can actually produce a battery, that’ll go 600 miles. I’m extremely interested in the new juniper. Also they have to have some other little fixes. You need to get rid of that problem with the computer screen that always jumps after you get an update. Gotta figure that one out.

I don't think a 1000km range is needed. At least i can't drive that long without a bio break.
They can better make the car lighter.

    • @adamtech999
      @adamtech999  19 วันที่ผ่านมา

Yeah, but many people they got range anxiety, so it's still good to see Tesla intergrated that much range in an EV. Many competitor has done that before. Anyway, why you think that Tesla should make a car lighter? If I'm not remembered wrong, the old Y is about 4,200 to 4,400 lbs weight.

@@adamtech999I think the race to make the biggest battery is environmentally wrong. It uses more resources to build the battery and the car and the car gets more efficient with less weight, better to handle, cheaper, and can use a simpler suspension. So if it was my call, above a certain range, I would focus on faster charging rather than more range. 800V is the way to go.

It will cost 50k - 60k too expensive for the middle class.

The Model Y right now started at only $32k, so when new Y come, i expected it will fall between 40k to 50k. Still affordable tho

Currently we lack of funding, and TH-cam is not recommended our channel, so we have to use robotic voice-over for a little bit of time. Any way, is there anything about the voice that we can improve, for now?
