If you ever remake this video, which I'd really like, please add more tags! The idea is great, but I would've liked more island boi conflicts like Kotte vs Ternate. Maybe a Rügen to rival the pirates of Gotland. Speaking of pirates, buffed Knights would be super cool to see too. Maybe even Malta and Mallorca to annoy Sardinia. And what about The Isles and the Maldives? Maybe even a buffed Philippine nation? I think the idea is cool and I'd love to see a second part with even more buffed, obscure island tags.

Did you see Cyprus lose a war to the Mamelukes? I ask because I know there's an event that makes Cyprus a PU of the Mams, so I suspect that's what happened to them.

EU4 but less provinces = more buffs and more provinces = more nerfs. Basically, make it so OPMs are OP and you get more debuffs the more provinces you own beyond 1.

Video Idea: EU4 but every Nation has -100% dev cost (or maybe even -200%) - wonder how that would change things considering that even things like building slots are affected ... maybe Nation with a lot of less developed land like hordes would thrive ?

@@burkcristacchio So basically if you form Rome with Tuscany, then instead of turning just the tuscan provinces into Roman culture - all of the italian cultures (for example lombard, naepolitian) get turned into Roman now.
Or if you form it with spain then all iberian cultures get converted instead of just Castilian/Aragonese

I have following video idea: BATTLE OF EMPIRES. Put in game few end game tags as OPM in different areas of world, let them start in the shitiest provinces possible but give them permanent claims on all of lands that ever where part of their empire (or dependent) and some insane buffs (with Siberian Frontier and free explorers and conquistadors). E.g.:
- Roman Empire, Tajarhi (3 dev desert), Catholic religion, Roman culture and permanent claims on following regions: Maghreb, Iberia, France, Britain, Low Countries, North Germany, South Germany, Italy, Carpathia, Balkans, Anatolia, Pontic Steppe, Caucasia, Persia, Mashriq, Arabia, Egypt
- Mongol Empire, Mukhtuya (3 dev arctic forest), Tengri Religion and Khalka culture and permanent claims on following subcontinents: Tartary, Far East, China, Persia and follwoing regions Ural, Russia, Ruthenia and Pontic Steppe,
- Mughal Empire, Jaisalmer (3 dev desert), Muslim religion, Hindavi Culture and pernament claims on India and Persia subcontinents
- United States, Tsetsehasahese (3 dev mountains), maybe Protestant religion, American culture and permanent claims on North America, Central America and Oceania subcontinents,

I imagine AI doesn't form Rome because of accepted culture headaches that follow... Abandoning an entire accepted culture group after centuries of conversion for a single lost culture... Is equivalent to a swift kick in the nuts.
No, it’s literally just because the devs put a 0 instead of a 1, no real reason sadly
That might have been an issue on release, but nowadays your entire culture group switches over to Latin when you click the button!
@@socksome that's great news! Maybe the devs never updated their code to account for their new feature? I don't have answers, just speculating as to why the AI chance might be set to zero
@@Chewbert I was thinking the chance was set to zero simply to avoid the culture consequences, but maybe you're right. Having recently watched a video on why the US didn't simply annex Mexico when it had the chance, I'm acutely aware that "because one guy wanted it that way" is often the real explanation.
@@leonidasrex7823 it's certainly possible that was why. knowing paradox spaghetti code there might even have been a time that an AI forming Rome literally broke the game or smthn. but, yeah, for whatever reason, it is unfortunate.
