    What is the best pre-emergent for crabgrass? Do you have a video on that?

    Your videos are super helpful.I had a weird leggy/stem crabgrass in a small area of my empire zoysia lawn this year. There are so many types of crabgrass and my Google lens app said it’s southern crabgrass 😂.So I may just get a small bottle of quinclorac as you often recommend.

    Impressive with the Quinclorac! Would you recommend leaving it there with Rye grass or would you dig it up and put new grass seeds in its place?

    Would a dishwashing liquid like Dawn, for example, work as a surfacant in place of the seed oil?

    I am overwhelmed by all of these chemicals! As a homeowner I am not sure where to even start. What product could you purchase premixed up simply over the counter?

      I feel your pain. I was there a year ago. Specracide, which you can buy locally, works well in a water spray that connects to your hose. It's easy to apply and works really well.

      Spectracide Weed Stop For Lawns Plus Crabgrass Killer has quinclorac. Roundup for Lawns has both quinclorac and sulfentrazone. the roundup is like $20 at Walmart. The Spectracide I picked up at Home Depot for less than $10. I recommend the Roundup, due to it having sulfentrazone. If neither work after a month of two applications every 2 weeks, you may have to use regular Roundup (glyphosate) and just pull them after a few weeks.

    Is there anything good for Crabgrass in Centipede? I looked up Quinclorac, and it carries this note: NOT FOR USE ON: St. Augustine, Centipede, Bahiagrass, Bentgrass or Dichondra, Fine fescue unless it is a seed blend

    Not sure if I missed it but are all these products safe for other grasses other than Bermuda?

      Products like Q-ball, anything that has quinclorac is not safe for centipede or St Augustine grass. Labels for most of these products can be found online in pdf usually. I always read them before making a decision/purchase. Hope this helps

      I can only apply pre emergents in early spring to my lawn for crabgrass. Does a pretty good job if you can apply prior to soil temps reach 55 F

    Isn't both seed oil and non ionic surfactant only used to help the chemical stick to the plant?

      I think your videos are great, and I’ve used and benefited immensely from them.
      Could you comment on treatment/ control of horsenettle and foxtail in foodplots , what chemicals would you think most likely to be effective. Thank you.

    Killing it can be easy. Stopping it from coming back next year, difficult. Similar to other weeds.

      Need to what cultivar of grass you have and location. It complex, that why turf applicators have be licensed and why they get paid very well . No one can explain it to you in a single post on TH-cam

      Don't listen to the other guy. Go to Lowe's and buy a weed killer that does not harm your grass and spray away! They come pre-mixed with a battery operated gun. You can spot spray your weeds. Don't make it complicated if you are just an average homeowner who wants a nice lawn.

    • @Chimonya
      @Chimonya 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You don't need the "best" product for every weed. Just identify the weeds you have and start with a broad spectrum product. Speedzone if warm season grass, maybe Tzone if cold season are excellent options. Keep in mind, premixed products you find at Lowe's or Home depot are more expensive per application and often times less effective / have less of the active ingredient than professional products. But if you want an average yard, feel free to use them.

    • @TakeBackTheMoralOrder
      @TakeBackTheMoralOrder 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Chimonya You expect this person who is overwhelmed to now go try to figure out which sprayer to buy and how to mix up these chemicals (where if you forget to carry the one you smoke your whole lawn)? Let's have some common sense here. When the person becomes more comfortable, they will move on to other things, but they need to go at their own pace, and maybe they will never get there and that's ok.
