  • We're very greatful to the feedback and response to our anniversary video, so as a 'Thank You' here's a bonus vacation episode. In it, we compare World War II High Power pistol production. Which should be considered the 'authentic original' and which should be cast as the clone or copy?
On one side, we have an example produced in Belgium at the Fabrique Nationale factory in 1943. Designated as the Pistole 640(B), these High Powers were built under DWM supervision during the Nazi-German occupation. It is shown with its wartime holster too.
On the other, we have two examples built in Canada by the John Inglis Co. First is a No. 1 MK I* with WW2 era stock-holster, originally created for the Nationalist Chinese Army. Second, is a No. 2 MK I; the variant created specifically for the British & Canadian militaries.
So which GP35/P35 High/HI Power should be considered the original, and which the copy?
