    I literally almost never comment on YT videos but this one deserves an exception. This is easily the best interview that Bert has ever done and Dana Carvey is a goddamned legend.

    Bert’s jealousy of Tom getting in shape and healthy is so funny😂. You could tell after Tom’s basketball accident and they told him he would get fat again he had the 1000 yard stare. He was ready to make the change and it looks great!

      I was on the fence with Dana as a guest....I'm a few years off his boom (33, his kids' ages). But I remember him from master of disguise 😂. I have this interview a shot and thoroughly loved it. He works/clashes with Burnt so well. Amazing interview by Brent and Dana needs the TikToks and Horrible or Hilarious treatment with the Mommies for sure

      Thanks for pointing out that one of these two hilarious guys remembered something incorrectly but the other one was so in sync that he understood and didn't feel the need to be a jerk about an inconsequential question that was only there to tell a funny joke. Not sure the interview would have been worth anything if not for your thoughtful commentary.

    I’m 24 and I am very grateful that I had a dad who showed me SNL and Dana Carvey movies when I was a kid. THE BEST and always a good time seeing him on my timeline!

    I think this episode in particular is the exact reason i watch podcasts in general … watching these two exchange words with each other like college buddies is so weirdly healing. They’re both so successful in their craft and I’m seeing them genuinely learn things from each other in such a healthy way. Two friends picking each others brains with no judgement! A practice that has been forgotten. You both rock!

    Y’all hate on Bert a little too much Tom is better at interviewing but Bert takes over the conversation usually because he has so much to say to the guest which doesn’t make a great interview but it’s still entertaining to listen to Bert be in denial and watch the guest react to him. And Bert seems like a genuine fan of Dana he has seen a lot of his lesser known movies and so far has been pretty good asking questions

    The movie theatre Dana mentions is in Elora, Ontario, Canada. It’s called the Gorge Cinema. I worked at the Petro-Canada gas station right next door, my job during filming was to turn the lights on and off and hide behind the counter when requested lmao. Met Dana and John and Nick many times as they’d come in for coffee during these late night shoots Such great memories of that movie Trapped in Paradise

    Love Dana Carvey, one of my favorite sketches of all time is from The Dana Carvey Show. The "crazy person matching service" - the service that matched crazy people that talk to themselves on the street, so it looked like they were talking to someone. Made me laugh so hard as a kid, personally thought Blank Slate was great too.

    I've always liked Dana alot with SNL but over the past few months I have realized how much of a comedy genius he really is. He has quietly become one of my all time favorite comedians. His talent is supreme. Thanks Bert for having him on your show.

    I think referring to Bert as sneakily bright might be the most apt description of Crunchler I've ever heard. Great episode. Dana's rock lead singer bit about chopping broccoli has stuck with me for my entire life, man is a legend.

    I always forget about Dana because of the ADHD & overload of stuff that is available these days but damn I fall in love again every time I see him. He seems like he’d be a ton of fun to just be around. His hair, not sure if it is natural or not but it looks great. So happy to see this.

    I'm 69 and Dana is the BEST Impressionist in the history of show business. His brilliant bit where Sir Paul is explaining to Lennon how the world has changed (on Howard Stern) since his death is a classic.
