I was guilty of being a love bomber. It was a subconscious behavior pattern. Where in a nutshell I was chasing a "feeling that significant partner" gave me. It wasn't until relationship failed that I was able to realize it. Since then I have been diligently working on myself. Looking at my patterns in an Honest but Not condemning way. 😮 Bro, I just got out of a similar situation! About 6 weeks ago I met a woman and immediately we hit it off. For about a week we talked/texted and she love bombed me. For 4 weeks straight I was at her house like 3 times a week and all we did was have sex smoke weed eat and sleep. She hit me with the “you’re so handsome”, “I’ve never met anyone like you”, “I love you”, “move in with me”. This is my experience. My ex lovebombed me and then went cold when I put the effort in for her birthday. There were other factors at play in her case but it seems attachment styles play a part in it, she was very open with me until I did the same and it's the Fearful Avoidant's approach to crave intimacy but also fear it, and always pursue someone who takes them for granted/dominates them, while running from sensitive and understanding partners, almost as a form of self-sabotage but more as a defense mechanism/response to how they were raised to view relationships. pretty much just described my current date. I can feel something is off. Doesn't effect me to much as I don't respond to people that want sympathy or attention. I'm just sitting on the side lines waiting for her to burn out. After a few dates I can see something has changed, I feel like she is trying to create drama to excite me, but I just don't respond to it. Damn i think this happened to me. A girl went super all in super fast and was telling me about how she grew up poor and how she gets black out drunk and then after a month randomly ended things in less than a day and I thought it was something i did wrong

Happened to me 5 years ago from a woman I casually dated before she was married. Out of nowhere she started love bombing me when she was having problems in her marriage a year before she decided to divorce him.

Yes, this is a great example of why boundaries are important. If someone is not clear or aligned with them they will show you. Also, remember dating is an assessment process. Not everyone is qualified. :-)

pretty much just described my current date. I can feel something is off. Doesn't effect me to much as I don't respond to people that want sympathy or attention. I'm just sitting on the side lines waiting for her to burn out. After a few dates I can see something has changed, I feel like she is trying to create drama to excite me, but I just don't respond to it. She will also just randomly talk about one topic, and within minutes straight onto the next topic without even waiting for me to reply, she can go on all day with me responding only with a few words lol.
I'm not too concerned about it, just learning from the psychological experience. Interesting to watch it unfold while being in total control. I can see why this person still can't find a long term relationship and she is only 30. It's a shame, I find a lot of woman don't have the insight to see their own issues. Extremely clingy and does everything for me. Nothing wrong with some of these things however too much too soon. She also mentions every time I see her that some guy at work is asking her out, I’m thinking insecurity. I finally told her to knock it off, that if find it unattractive. huh, the first time I ever courted a girl, well over a decade, I sorta used love bombing techniques but I wasn't cognizant of it; It's not like I was trying to harm the girl. I was just really naïve, romantic, nerdy, flexible, & using natural instincts.

Wow…… I never even knew about this behaviour. Was recently in a 3 month relationship with a very attractive women. She made me feel amazing, cooked for me , sex was great , Texting me and FaceTiming me every night. We spent a lot of time together.
She bought me lots of nice clothes which had me feeling like she was really into me. So….. we decided to go on holiday together for 9 days in Greece , the holiday was perfect and I started to really warm up to this women. Then….
