Totally see what you mean about how the boost comes on gentler than with the stock turbo. It eases into boost more so now with the FP red. Can't wait to see some full 4th gear pulls next time you're in Mexico.
Man I'm glad it was just the O2 gasket! And I'm sure your OG 8 turbo came on like it was nothing. Stock 9 turbo has some lag but I'm full spool by 3800rpm. I'm going to get a red spec turbo I the near future.. the spool sound on a red is.. 🤤🤤🤤
Yea i just got an FP green and man it sounds like a jet turbine compared to the stock turbo, i love it. Comes on slower though but when it hits you better hold on.
Did you notice any subtle difference in exhaust tone with the FP manifold? Obviously it is a cast piece just like the stock manifold so for the most part should be very similar.
No it sounds the same to me. I think its louder with the test pipe over the resonated pipe from before but my buddies say its the same too. Prob too subtle to know the difference

Not yet. Have a tentative appt in a week to have it tuned
