Great video on this replacement. This is the best video on this replacement. Extremely clear and easy to follow..especially the ignitor and carryover brackets - the instructions manual is horrible on the set. TYSM ❤❤🎉
My neighbour gave me his 5 burner, 1 searing burner and side burner when he went natural gas. Just ordered burners and I ordered a new pan! Now I know how to refresh my new Charl Broil! Thanks. Nice calm, step by step delivery. The bottom pan has the same look as the b burn/covers.
Thank you for the excellent feedback! This is one of the few videos I filmed with just my phone (no big camera or fancy mic setup). Continues to amaze me how well it has done! Thanks again!
They're called cotter pins. But very nice video. I learned what I set forth to learn. Thank you for that, friend. Gotta love youtube. Have a great grilling day!
Great detail, good follow thru. My grill is brand new, as I got rid of my SRG(which still worked) but...getting some knowledge for, when mine gets there. Thanks, bud!
Your vid has been very helpful. 2 big issues I have: I can't get the igniter to clip on to the tube at all and my flames are coming out light a flamethrower. Could it be the regulator hose? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
I also had trouble getting the igniter to clip on there, and I think some of these kits are a mix of parts. I suppose it's possible you may have received the wrong igniter. As for the flames, I think it could be the regulator, or the tubes aren't lining up, or something is obstructing the flow of gas. Before we replaced ours, the small holes were clogged and I recall the gas wasn't able to mix properly and flames were shooting out at the crossovers like a flamethrower.
@@EricCosner I’m wondering if the crossovers may be on backward? I wasn’t sure which way they went, but they are working properly for me. And I used a pair of pliers to squeeze the igniter on the tube.
@@rogerhartmann4180 I suppose it may be possible that having the crossover installed one way or another might cause a flamethrower effect. It hard to tell looking at the diagram which way is right. Whether I did it right or wrong, looks like I installed them with the open part toward the front of the grill. They're still working great. Only complaint I have with my grill is that in the winter time, I have to heat my propane tank in the shower or my flames are weak lol. I'm guessing that might be related to the regulator.
What model number is your grill? I have the exact one but don't know the model number. I need the exact same parts. What site did you order your parts?

I was afraid of the cross over channels, so I put this project off. Thanks to your video, I completed the job myself .
Thanks for sharing it!
Great video! Thank you for the tutorial!
Thanks so much! I followed your video, got it up and running, just in time for the gas to run out during the preheat😂
Glad to hear it went well, except for the gas running out! Sounds about like my luck!! 😆
Thanks for the video. Got it done today.
The exact video I needed. Same grill and everything.
Just make sure you burn off all the machine oil off the new parts before you cook.
For how long roughly? Just changed all my parts as well.
@@HbCon22 I usually bring it up and let it sit at 400f for 15 min. That gets all the nasty stuff off so your food doesn't taste funny.

Thanks for the video. Just fixed my 5 year old char broil
Good time to replace the hose that goes from the propane tank to the grill. At the very least check everything for leaks with soapy water. Good video.
Thanks for the video, gonna rebuild my grill.
Awesome Eric very detailed, great video. thank you...appreciate it.. About to tackle mine now.
Thank you for the positive feedback! It is very much appreciated!
Thank you Buddy..this video helped me!!
Thanks for the video. Very well done and helpful!
Good job on the video buddy !
Thank you! Appreciate it!
Great video man! Thanks
I see your replacements came with washers and screws which you didn’t use. Mine did as well. Any idea what they are for?
Thanks for the help!
The pins do come with them. They are on the screw about halfway down the burner. You can take them off.
when you put the burner in does it hook up to the handle
Thank u helped a bunch !
This is helpful good job!
Thank you!
💯 I appreciate this!
Very Helpful ! Thx
Are the replacements parts compatible across models?
Great video
