    I have one. Great microphone for my purposes which is making TH-cam videos and live-streaming. I’m going to try the Rode Connect software. Regarding the audio delay eCamm Live which is the software I use for live-streaming and also offline recording has a audio delay feature so that’s not a issue for me. Adding it to the connect software would be a plus though. Thanks for the review.

    • @AudioforContentCreators
      @AudioforContentCreators  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You’ll love the RodeConnect software. And yeah, there are lots of ways to get the audio delay, including OBS, eCamm Live, Audio HiJack, etc. But that requires additional routing within the computer to do something that can absolutely be built into the existing RodeConnect software. I’m going to do a video showing people how to work around it, but I hope Rode adds it. There’s literally nothing to it, and no reason it shouldn’t be in any software-based mixer these days, with the popularity of HDMI capture cards and USB mics.

    Question - if I enable some effects & settings on windows using the RØDE Connect software. Will it be carried over to other devices, like my PS5 or iPad. Bcz I cannot install any software on those devices to control this mic. Please can you answer???
    I am looking forward to use this only on my PS5 for streaming, gaming recording. I saw that this has a NOISE GATE built in which is triggered by the software. And software is only on Windows & Mac. So what I'm thinking is, I'll connect this mic to my windows laptop, enable noise filter & then take this to my PS5/ipad. But i need to know if the setting done on windows software will work on ps5/ipad.

      Completely different tonal characteristics. Plus, this is a condenser mic, the MV7 is dynamic. So this mic will be more articulate and sensitive without having your mouth right on the mic. But it will also pick up more room noise. The MV7 is warm and smooth, but you have to eat the mic. It will eliminate most of the room noise.
