I don't know why, but the idea of the Justice League and Legion of Doom just sitting on the sidelines one day to set up a playdate for Aquaman and Black Manta is really funny to me.
It's kinda like a proxy war, like how americans and soviets duked it out during the cold war. Americans lose in vietnam, the soviets in afghanistan, you know? Wouldn't want to risk anything of importance, since that would be just terrible.
I'd love to see that honestly. An episode where both sides feel like their fish guy isn't getting a lot of attention and come up with a plan where they can both feel like they're contributing lol. Completely unbeknownst to both characters. I think it'd make the character dynamics a lot more interesting

My favorite Aquaman comic retcon to make him stronger was the idea that since Atlanteans live at the bottom of the ocean, their bone and muscle should be so dense they can take hits from speeding vehicles and be basically bulletproof. They couldn't even just give it to Aquaman specifically, dudes neighbors got it too.

In retrospect I really like the potential of the underestimated niche hero archetype, I think The Tick handled it best with the Urchin, who was the sewer based hero that was basically that show's aquaman, but the one time we follow an adventure into the sewers, he is shown to be very competent, experienced, with a cool lair and fighting dramatic battles against the villain of the episode. He was lack luster in other episodes but in a general comedic tone fitting to the setting, but in his element he was a confident, capable crimefighter. Another good example would be some takes on booster gold, where he deals with time based adventures and does well, but has to keep up the bumbling underestimated facade from when he started out, purely because his niche is time travel, any of his foes could look him up by visiting the future, so he needs to keep up his reputation as laughable glory hound to avoid shenanigans like trying to kill him before he starts his hero career. I love the idea of a hero that really shines in a specific sort of scenario but doesn't show that all the time, so it catches people off guard when it does happen.
Also, when a joke villain suddenly starts wrecking shop. Like they are always underestimated, so nobody expects it the one time they actually bring the heat and then the heroes get stomped. And then Dr. Feather Boa or whatever has this moment like, "Oh my gosh I beat Captain Impossible. I have to call mother!"
It's physically impossible for me to watch these videos without laughing. I always try to watch this with as serious a mood as possible to get a genuine laugh out of it. I love it

Hey Solid JJ: I have an idea for a video. The Joker, Riddler, Two Face, Penguin, Mr. Freeze, Bane, & Poison Ivy team up to commit a crime & actually succeed because Batman doesn't show up. At 1st the villains all are happy that they actually got away with their crimes for once, but then they feel that it wasn't as much fun without Batman trying to stop them. As the video goes on the villains all begin to mock each other over their gimmicks & realize that they enjoy working by themselves rather then as a group. By then end, they turn on each other fighting over who is the true arch nemesis of Batman. And the joke at the end is that Batman & Robin are watching the villains fighting each other from a distance just enjoying the show.
Love how they called Hawkman for the mission and were roasting Aquaman While in a previous video , they talked about how they just joke around with Aquaman and how Hawkman was trying to seem significant Just polar opposite of that video 😆
I like to imagine that there is not much villain crime underwater, because they are scared of aquaman. Hard to do crime when every fish is a snitch and some guy can just send a herd of sharks when ever.
Aquaman should be responsible for food supplies. He can pretty much get everyone on the team as much fish as they want! He can even communicate with the fish to ensure that they are in optimal condition for consumption
Aquaman could pretty easily turn into very powerful villain. Since he controls all the seas and sealife, basically means ships can't sail at all without getting sunk and all coastal cities and lakes become warzones. He could just jam the NY subway pumps with tons of fish and entire New York city would be flooded in a matter of hours, or poison all drinking water sources with algae and plankton.

@@BazukinBelyugovich I'm pretty sure aquaman is way richer compared to batman. He's the king of a submerged advanced hi-tech city ffs, so even in the money department he's better than batman. Batman just beats him with a better brain and more plot armour
In retrospect I really like the potential of the underestimated niche hero archetype, I think The Tick handled it best with the Urchin, who was the sewer based hero that was basically that show's aquaman, but the one time we follow an adventure into the sewers, he is shown to be very competent, experienced, with a cool lair and fighting dramatic battles against the villain of the episode. He was lack luster in other episodes but in a general comedic tone fitting to the setting, but in his element he was a confident, capable crimefighter. Another good example would be some takes on booster gold, where he deals with time based adventures and does well, but has to keep up the bumbling underestimated facade from when he started out, purely because his niche is time travel, any of his foes could look him up by visiting the future, so he needs to keep up his reputation as laughable glory hound to avoid shenanigans like trying to kill him before he starts his hero career.
I love the idea of a hero that really shines in a specific sort of scenario but doesn't show that all the time, so it catches people off guard when it does happen.

Also, when a joke villain suddenly starts wrecking shop. Like they are always underestimated, so nobody expects it the one time they actually bring the heat and then the heroes get stomped. And then Dr. Feather Boa or whatever has this moment like, "Oh my gosh I beat Captain Impossible. I have to call mother!"

Hey Solid JJ: I have an idea for a video. The Joker, Riddler, Two Face, Penguin, Mr. Freeze, Bane, & Poison Ivy team up to commit a crime & actually succeed because Batman doesn't show up. At 1st the villains all are happy that they actually got away with their crimes for once, but then they feel that it wasn't as much fun without Batman trying to stop them. As the video goes on the villains all begin to mock each other over their gimmicks & realize that they enjoy working by themselves rather then as a group. By then end, they turn on each other fighting over who is the true arch nemesis of Batman. And the joke at the end is that Batman & Robin are watching the villains fighting each other from a distance just enjoying the show.

Aquaman should be responsible for food supplies. He can pretty much get everyone on the team as much fish as they want! He can even communicate with the fish to ensure that they are in optimal condition for consumption

Aquaman could pretty easily turn into very powerful villain. Since he controls all the seas and sealife, basically means ships can't sail at all without getting sunk and all coastal cities and lakes become warzones. He could just jam the NY subway pumps with tons of fish and entire New York city would be flooded in a matter of hours, or poison all drinking water sources with algae and plankton.
A video of that happening would be nice to see Solid jj do.

Luckily I don’t live in Flint, I technically live in the suburbs of it.
The video is referring to the infamous “Flint water crisis” where Flints water supply got contaminated with massive amounts of lead, and that was this big thing for a while where their tap water was unusable. Eventually they had to switch water supplies but it lasted years. That’s what the joke is referring to, lolllll
Luckily, my town, wasn’t actually in the midst of that. Our water tastes perfectly fine, it only affected the town of Flint, surrounding towns were unharmed
