Agreed, same here in California where 15-20 years ago teenage girls clamored for Uggs to wear with plaid flannel pajama bottoms to middle school. No one forgets this.

But that’s part of the fun challenge here-seeing if something so rooted in comfort and nostalgia can be elevated in new ways. Australian here. There is nothing chic about ugg boots. Most Aussie kids grew up wearing them, they are slippers. Only bogans wore slippers in public.
