@ I usually wait for the summer sale which starts in July till mid of August… every big store and boutiques goes on sale. I also go to some of the outlets if you want to shop for designer pieces - Serravalle outlet is 1.5 hours from Milan…. Except for LV you get all the designer brands there

@@TRENDSSPOTTEDFASHIONAgeless I used to read French Vogue and Vogue Italia decades ago we would get it for work, and it was obvious to me that the Italians were more flamboyant and adventurous than the French who can be veery 'safe' and bourgeois. (I can say this because I'm part French). Even houses like Balenciaga were wonderful and then I realised ...he wasn't French. Look at what Lagerfeld did with Chanel, he gave it a shot of adrenaline and did so persistently. Lagerfeld was a true artist though. If you look at Lacroix he brought in some Italian sensibility but he lacked the right kind of restraint he went too overboard. The worst thing he did was send himself up on 'Absolutely Fabulous' the comedy show, after that his brand was toxic. I felt for him because he had moments of real flair and he had a sunny disposition.
