  • Step into the future of sustainable luxury with PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay! 🏨✨ In this architectural marvel, the relationship between nature and architecture is redefined, breathing new life into a 21-story urban atrium complex. Join us as we explore the innovative design that transforms this older structure into a breathtaking Garden-in-a-Hotel, showcasing Singapore's garden city concept in a whole new light.
Sustainability takes center stage, with a focus on repurposing and transforming the existing structure to avoid unnecessary waste. Did you know that the demolition of a typical high-rise emits 51,300 tons of carbon dioxide? That's equivalent to wiping out 10,000 hectares of forest! Discover how PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay turns this environmental impact around, celebrating the robust and interesting nature of the original structure.
Greenery is seamlessly integrated from the moment guests enter, with a 3-story tall green wall at the lift-core's rear and ascending planters clad in lightweight screens. Walk through the atrium lobby via a tree-top bridge surrounded by 6m trees, leading to playful Bird's Nests - lightweight organic pavilions inspired by the hotel's renowned songbirds. Parametric design shapes these pavilions, creating delightful focal points within the gardens, reaching heights of up to 10m.
Dining spaces embrace the garden concept with private dining rooms designed as Greenhouses, extending into the atrium space. Experience the climax at the Atrium ballroom, featuring vaulted ceilings expressing existing steel beams and full-height acoustic doors, connecting the space to the lush atrium gardens, unlike traditional enclosed ballrooms.
Furniture and finishes draw inspiration from the garden concept, with warm and natural elements taking the forefront. Moss-inspired carpets create a forest floor illusion, complementing the 15,000 sqft of trees and shrubs planted throughout. Witness how these green additions not only enhance aesthetics but also improve air quality, absorbing carbon dioxide and producing oxygen within the large-scale indoor space.
Through careful integration and crafting, PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay showcases that large-scale greening is not just feasible but also beneficial in both new projects and older, re-invigorated structures imbued with new life.
