Lot easier to install the spacers if you attach the bottom of the link first at least for an 83 year old. I tried the top first and couldn’t get the spacers in the bottom. Did it the other way and it was easy as pie. The aluminum links made a world of difference. Now both front wheels stay planted under hard cornering.
Hats off to you sir for not only riding but still installing at 83, that's quite impressive. And thank you for the feedback. I'm sure others will find your insight helpful.
Hello David, sway bar end links should not flex. The purpose of sway bar end links is to provide a rigid connection between the sway bar and the suspension components, allowing the sway bar to effectively reduce body roll during cornering. If the end links are flexing, it can cause the sway bar to lose effectiveness, resulting in reduced handling and stability. I'm not the MFG of the factory plastic end links, but if I had to guess, I'd say the MFG used plastic to cut costs. They'll work, they're just not ideal, especially for those of you that like to ride it like you stole it.

Did the manufacturer design these parts with flex on purpose? Just curious
