If you own a Can-Am Ryker, then you've probably noticed that when you're going around corners the bike can feel a bit top-heavy. This uncomfortable feeling is even more prominent when riding with a passenger. This is because the factory sway bar allows the bike's body to roll more, which can create a feeling of floatiness or sloppiness in the handling. In addition to that the factory sway bar end links are made of plastic, which can flex under spirited riding.
To address this issue, we've partnered up with the Team over at Baja Ron to bring you guys our 3-piece Ultra Performance Sway Bar. This sway bar uses one continuous piece of 1/2" spring steel, with no bends to improve responsiveness. This straight sway bar design ensures a consistent diameter along its entire length which means it has a uniform stiffness or torsional resistance to twisting. It includes two billet aluminum arms. One on either side. These arms are available in several different colors to compliment your Ryker's color profile. This is the ideal sway bar setup for those that love to carve canyons and for those of you that like to ride with a passenger.
When installing a Baja Ron sway bar, you'll also need to swap out the factory plastic end links with something a bit beefier. So we also have Baja Ron end links that feature a billet aluminum link body, Chromoly rod ends, aluminum spacers, and self-lubricating bearings. Is there a video to install this sway bar on a 2016 rt? Also, how much torque do you use to tighten it all down? Ty. No spyder services around here.😢

Whats the torque specs om everything?
Could I use a pair of heavy duty bolt cutters to cut the factory sway bar? Is the steel soft enough?
Hello, that's not something we've tried so unfortunately I would not be able to elaborate on that. The angle grinder makes easy work of it. That's our preferred method.
I just did the steering stabilizer will do this mod when I can afford it or at the very least the end links

Hey Ben, if you're referring to the billet aluminum arms that mount to the end of the sway bar shown here: th-cam.com/video/fB7RrzFr67U/w-d-xo.html you "may" have an older version of this sway bar kit. The screw used to thread in from the bottom of the billet arms on the older versions, before we started selling the product. This video depicts the newest version of the sway bar kit, whereas those screws now thread in from the top and face down. If you purchased from us, you'll have the newest version. If you purchased elsewhere you may have the older version. I'd recommend contacting Baja Ron directly on this to verify what version you have so that you can rest assured that it's installed correctly. Please let us know what you find out!
Absolutely the most frustrating install ever. 1. The four nuts to remove the stock sway bar are hell to get too and even worse to try and re-install. God forbid you drop one of the nuts and that thing is lost in maze of frame parts. Took me 45 minutes to get the one I dropped. Then putting them back in the headache to align them up with the four bolts while trying to move your fingers around is ridiculous. 2. The Ryker Rally wheels do not make it easy to just slide the new sway bar into place. Why? because there is no aligning clearance in the stock wheels. 3. The new spacers do not help center align the sway bar at all. The sway bar slips right through the spacers without any pressure. Like seriously?.......really not cool.
You get er' done? Go for a ride David and you'll forget all about the install in about 10 minutes.
