much thanks, I had to replace calipers on my 1996 ford f250 truck(new to me). the new caliper came with the anti rattle clip but none on the truck, no instruction, so I had no clue where it went. very clear here,,. thanks much. (it was the same clip as mine too)

Most Lexus cars that are from the last styling gen of all models seem to have this issue. My 2010 IS250 only has 38k miles and the rattling is unbearable. Embarrassing to drive around. C'mon Totoya...
i feel the title should be how to assemble a calliper correctly or something like that, I'm trying to figure out my mine rattles even with all new hardware
I drive a lot of washboard roads and end up replacing my anti-rattle clips annually. It's stupid but it works, they do actually wear out. I also found out if you add a layer or two of masking tape on either side of the clip, it reduces the slop and actually helps reduce that constant and annoying rattle.

You might be missing bushings or have a different style caliper.
