Enjoy this walking tour of 57th Street in Manhattan, NYC where I travel from 1st Avenue to 9th Avenue, passing many supertall skyscrapers, Carnegie Hall, ultra rich retail stores, restaurants, and Trump Tower.
From Wikipedia
"57th Street is one of New York City's major thoroughfares, which runs as a two-way street east-west in the Midtown section of the borough of Manhattan, from the New York City Department of Sanitation's dock on the Hudson River at the West Side Highway to a small park overlooking the East River built on a platform suspended above the FDR Drive. Between Fifth and Eighth Avenue, it is two blocks south of Central Park. 57th Street is notable for prestigious art galleries, restaurants and up-market shops."

actionkid105 hey are ya going to do a walking in the rain type of video?
I may have an opportunity today!
can i just say you live in such a beautiful city it's on my list of cities to travel to the Ambience of the sounds of the vehicles honking horns downtown sounds amazing something about new york makes me wanna visit
www.faithfreedom.org/challenge.htm
Thank you for allowing me to walk around New York... for it has always been my dream, since I was a kid, to visit it... but unfortunately, there's no financial opportunities to do so. Once again... a thousand thanks won't suffice!
Where are you from bro? I believe in you, you'll walk around nyc one day. Amazing City!
Same here bro😩😩😩😩
One day brother !
Yes!!! It happens the same, i dream to walk and live in NY, its an Amazing city, beautiful building between modern old and well cared ones. I hope with all my heart to be there!!!!
It seems very clean in that part of NYC
@Tika Nguyen . are u talking about chinatown?
@Tika Nguyen If 'no one is able to afford it' which is clearly a hyperbole, then you might as well say nobody can afford to live in the whole of Switzerland.
It has to be because of all the non-existent billionaires that live on that street.
Zillionaire's row mate.
Tika Nguyen Does that mean that poor people can’t be civilized enough to keep the city clean? Because I prefer this safer, cleaner city than the dangerous shithole it was in the 80s
In still waiting on the day you can walk manhattan without going under construction beam bridges.
Well that will never happen...
If the investment money dries up, guess what, no money to also shore up and rehab all the old buildings. Then the construction beam bridges sprout up to protect from falling concrete, stone slabs, terra cotta, Chrysler bldg bric-a-brac and former investment consultants.
you must not know Manhattan then...
Construction beam bridges - are those these one-storey-tall scaffoldings put alongside buildings every other block? What do they actually do? I never see construction being done, the only reason for them I can think of is to prevent loose bricks coming off the facades hitting pedestrians, which seems like a silly explanation, so I´m left with none. What are they really for?
Right Said Ralf I don't know. Is it the universe messing with us so we don't look up and notice the coming Rapture or an incoming meteorite from plan URF1984?🔥☄️💥⌛️🔭#️⃣⤵️
Friendly wave at 9:18 :D
I love NYC! I've been there twice and I'm going to keep going as long as I'm able. I love these walk about videos
I live on the 16th floor in Harlem, and my view out my window points straight to these buildings... they look beautiful especially at night
My favorite street in NYC. greetings from Argentina
seems really clean . no homeless . folks not all stuck up in their phone's . really cool
homeless probably had to simply leave the „tourist“ area. Doesn’t mean there are not a lot
3:50 The little wave, aww so cool.
New York is a gorgeous city. I want to live there.
It would be great if you could go back and video this again with narration like your more recent videos. It really adds a lot.
Paul Mason I agree! Going back and redoing these videos with narration would be great!
Good morning. It feels good to be able to walk with you. Very Wonderful.Your walking video is very interesting and fun.
Picture quality is super.
25:02 Russian Tea Room 😁
Thank you so much for this. I feel like I've visited New York
That Whole Foods took up half a block lol
New York.. when it rains it makes it's own gravey.
Another great video! I enjoyed my walk this morning over coffee!
This video is great one of my favorites in your amazing channel 🥇
Oh, love the spiderweb iron work on 340!
it's Octogon mate. A real underground empire leading on all
@@davidblanc458 You must have watched some Sean Hross videos. I have seen them all and they are all awesome. I noted the demonic looking dragons on that building as well as the webs. Like David Icke talking about The spider within it's web.
I'm visiting back the City this March! I can't wait i'm so startled.. Craving the street Pretzels! 😭
Honestly they're the best thought i eas the only one
hey how’d the trip go
I want to live in one of the apartments.
@ninuxy :((((((( I can't breathe now
Might be able to find a hotel there with a similar living experience. Cough up several thousand for week's worth. Not cheap but well within reason compared to the tens of millions.
@@rudy_4ier I don't mind living in the apartment.
You're essentially paying for a really stunning view. The least expensive apartment in one of the "billionaire's row" buildings and those with central park views are minimally priced at about $3 million and up. The apartments are very small, the kitchens are tight, they're generally a small 1 bedroom apartment with old appliances and not very livable. But the view is SPECTACULAR!!! Plus you get to live in the city in the best neighborhood and you walk outside your building and you have Carnegie Hall, Central Park, hundreds of incredible restaurants, times square in walking distance, Columbus circle in walking distance, Rockefeller center in walking distance, Lincoln center in walking distance, food stores in walking distance, 5th avenue, clothing shopping. Everything is in walking distance and it would be an absolute joy to wake up every morning to go jogging in Central Park. But again the living spaces are quite bad and you look at your apartment thinking it's not worth the price from the inside, knowing you can buy/build for that same $3 Million a 3 story mega mansion with outdoor swimming pool, 2 car garage in a quiet, well guarded and expensive upscale neighborhood in Brooklyn where some Billionaires and mostly millionaires live as well and you're about 40 minutes train ride from "Billionaires Row" subway exit in Manhattan.
@@lambro4014 Expensive price to pay for a view. The convenience is probably the best factor of renting apartments like these.
Thanks. Nice to see the ground view of the street.
Another great film of New York ..i love all of your films keep up the good work ..from me in England.
hello pretty lady good afternoon how are you doing today I hope you are having a great day over there 😃
We Love Your Vids
Please Keep Them Coming For As Long As You Can !!!!!
Thanks alot for sharing bro!!! Amazing vídeos!!
❤️ Love NYC, especially on 11 September ❤️
Seeing the new, ultra thin resident skyscrapers going up throughout this area will forever change the look of the midtown Manhattan skyline. I'm not sure if I like them or not.
Though I can't imagine the views of the park from inside. Well worth the 9 figure price tags, I'm sure.
Walk around New York. Feel so good.
2:40 Ryan Serhant's black Escalade, Yuriy parking under the tree for shade :)
This is awesome, my Aunt Mira's building is 130 West 57th.
Thank you very much, I've loved every minute of that walkthrough
bro,
I like your videos. The tours are great!
I love that area. Beautiful buildings 🎩
9:59 hey thats the hotel in Simcity4
New York is awesome. One day I'd like to do this. Thanks for the cool vid.=]
Enjoying my walk from Australia, past Tiffany's and heading for coffee at Starbucks and then to the subway, cool thanks
I used to take the M-28, M-31, and M-30 on this block, back when few billionaires even existed, and not here. Many of these apartments were rent-regulated. Sutton Place was the wealthy block btw.
Could you remake this video with narration? Always wanted to know more about these streets
Awesome video! Thank you so much!
THE MOST AMAZING PLACE ON EARTH - NEW YORK CITY !!!!
Not really prostitution is illegal !!! It should be legal to lower the crime !!
México is.
Great videos. Thank you very much for your work. Best regards from Istanbul :)
Thank u ❤😊
Hey ActionKid, I like when you narrate.
Thank you
Very nice video !
Woa, you're like Spiderman without the powers! 😁
Love your vids keep them coming !
Grand Theft Auto 6
I wish it is set in Liberty city again
🎶 _If you can make it here_ ... 🎶
Architecture 🏤🏢🏙😍
30:18 wtf
Large load!
The Crown Building on 5th and 57th, is the nicest building on 5th
How can people live above these noisy streets, I always wonder. I work on the 7th floor and the first busy traffic street is like 100 to 200 meters away (110 to 220 yards). But I will never open a window because the sharp "hiss" from the passing cars is deafening. Yet people live here in NY in the midst of all of it this.
You can get used to it after a while.
@@ActionKid that's not a good thing!!
@@Sadude13 how is that not good?
@@GreenHazeGH What if you want to let fresh air in, and open the windows, doesnt the noise bother you? I live in a small town(2 Million) in Europe and except in the winter , i keep the windows always open. :)
velin hristov Yeah, during the fall/spring I opened them, and yep the noise was sometimes too much. I lived right above a public transit train station, so every 15 minutes or so a train would come by and honk... If my windows were open you could hear it throughout the entire apartment and it always made me jump hearing that loud ass horn.
Very Nice
lots of high buildings to see there.
Actually looks just like a movie set👀 Awesome 👍
New York is becoming the American Hong Kong with all the super skinny tall apartments. I like it.
Other way around ultra thin skyscrapers originated in NYC
Actually New York designed the first modern skyscrapers along with Chicago, and Hong Kong simply copied the technology to fit the people within its tiny territory. So it’s the other way around
Thanks very enjoyable feel as if I’m walking around....
Incredible video
Anyone know the name of that statue at 13:20? Pretty sure PewDiePie has a bunch of his sculptures!
The artist that makes these statues is names KAWS. If you google that name you should be able to find these. They took the statue down like 2 weeks ago. I work right across the street from it.
57th and Fifth is the point where any car should stay as far away from as possible.
Thank you for this, action kid🤗.
I live in dublin a compleatly different city but i have been to n y c so many times i would love to live and work there see how its really like beat of everything stay blogging kid brilliant stuff and stay safe ,peace
Thank you, you should come back to visit sometime!
Awesome

My hood/morning commute!
Hey can u maybe do a train ride?with the entire metro card process...not used to big cities so it's the Littlest of things I need guidance with..thank u
Here’s an unedited video of a commute to Manhattan during morning rush hour: th-cam.com/video/MAfzMqIqvCI/w-d-xo.html
@@ActionKid thanks alot
I feel like if you were an Imperial Storm Trooper from outer space, this would be the first place to conquer. Lol
It might be billionaires row but park avenue is a lottttttt nicer the trees in the median and a lot more sunlight as well.
I used to work at the Hilton club on 142 w57
Sweet!
Bet you saw all kinds of stuff
@@visionist7 yea. Saw alot of rich people that like to throw their money around
@@alexanderjackson9302 I expect lots of overpriced hookers trawled those corridors in twos and threes
@@visionist7 yup. Especially in the lobbies of hotels at the bars. That's their favorite spots
What GTA IV mod ? It looks great, but did you turn off the shadows ? Also the fact that you can't see characters hand and feet takes the realism away.
I was there too,on march 14th 2014.much much beter than 1982 on my 1st.time in this fantastic city I was living for 15 days in RENAISSANCE HOTEL on 57th and lexington av.GRATE CITY. I L O V E N. Y .I make my dream come true twice .STEFANOS TSATSARONIS FROM ATHENS GREECE.
Beautiful
I was in the old Rizzoli bookstore on W57 once and it was very quiet, Elton John was on the 2nd floor buying books and wow did he buy books, he and his entourage were busy paying and boxing them at the ground floor cash desk. I think it's the only time I've actually recognized a celebrity without being told by someone. Too bad Steinway and Rizzoli are gone now from this street, but change is good?! Too bad this is an un-narrated video, enjoy your commentary.
Amazing, love it!
220 CPS is my all time favorite.
Thanks💖💖
Very good my Friends
Do all the doormen who wave know you from your walks/videos?
Who knows!
12:46 I believe you were at this intersection in your last video walking across from the left to the right right?
Not the last video, but I've walked Park Avenue previously so it might seem familiar.
@@ActionKid It was night just before Christmas. A lot of traffic too I remember. It might have been snowing.
Wil be there soon.Greetings from Amsterdam..
good job , great work. What camera ?
GoPro HERO7 Black
NYC used to be known for sliver buildings way back into the 1970s. Now that became a new even taller thing on small lots, maybe needle buildings.
thank u for the ride
I love 3rd Ave. Sorry you got caught in the crosswalk--but it's good to linger on 3rd Ave.
Interesting! If you don't mind me asking, what did you use to record the video/audio?
GoPro HERO7 Black with a FeiyuTech G6 gimbal. It’s in the video description.
Really nice😉
Loving it
Park Avenue is my favorite street in New York but Fifth Avenue is Awesome amazing unbeatable, greeting frome Rome, New York is my second favorite city after Rome.
Paris ain't too bad either (or at least wasn't).
hey, am i allowed to take a bite when you show the central park tower ?? Credit in video and description will be present (28:00)
Its clean.
Seems like they were waiting for you at 9:18 as soon as you passed the building they were waving unless they were just being polite
do u use protune on for daylight shooting?
No it's on Protune Off Mode.
Good night!!...jiji😊
Goodnight
The building at 9:57 😳
