Dear Actionkid105. First, the HD quality of this video is remarkable. It's like being there. Secondly, in my opinion, it appeals to viewers who 1) walk and 2) perhaps work or HAVE WORKED in this area. Can't thank you enough, again, for your energy behind the camera as our GUIDE in these walking tours. PRICELESS.
Another great slice of NYC. I'm hoping to be there for work in May. This is a great way to find out where to explore on my down time. The reveal as you come out of the subway is shocking, seeing all the towering buildings. I think one of those holds more people than my entire town. Thanks -Henry
hello action!! ... beautiful the video! !!👍👌the buildings looked spectacular with the little lights on !! ... excellent tour !! 💝 thank you very much!!
My old neighborhood, I lived in Chatham Green Co-op down by police plaza. Brings back memories, moved out of NYC in 96 and it all kind of looks the same,
Can't thank you enough for this walking tour. Look forward to a little further south near Broad Street, the stock exchange and One Chase Plaza. Seaport area. Many thanks. Exhilarating.
watched full your video added blue color like number 482 for your video NYC a big city and also a modern city that is cool success more for you, my friend 😊 😊 😊 😊 😊 👍👍👍👍👍
This is becoming one of my favorite videos by AK105. I know I'm not alone. Naming a few reasons, we like being outdoors (at all hours), wanna see what's going on in the world, i.e. travel, and esp. like to walk. LOVE THIS VIDEO. It makes me feel like dancing.
Super, beautiful. One day could you take us down to 7 State street? our lady of the rosary church. Its such a sight to see. Small old brick buildings with all those tall shiny buildings in back. Thank you for the awesome videos. I just love them.
11:20 is what used to be the Sonora Phonograph store on 57 Reade St. and West Broadway. This is why so got my third windup phonograph yesterday and it’s a Sonora tabletop model from 1916, and the original badge under the lid that has the Sonora’s old address.
Thanks for your vids Actionkid!!! I was there 1 year ago and it's amazing see all this places again!!! Could i make two suggestions? i think you should narrate all videos because you always give us important details about locations and buildings! and the second one... probably im very freak but... have you thought about to put a "live minimap" to see where you are in each moment of the video?or maybe that the minimap appears in the important locations of the video . i know... too much work! but would be an amazing effect!!! Thanks and sorry for my bad english ;) PD : if you come to Ibiza, or Zaragoza, in Spain ( depend if you come on Winter or Summer... ) , i will be glad to be your guide for your videos ;)
You’re welcome! It’s extremely challenging to appeal to everyone’s tastes when it comes to video creation. I don’t think it’s necessary to narrate all my videos, non-narrated videos such as this one enable the viewer to experience the feeling of being there at the moment without a voice informing them of their opinion. In fact, my most viewed walking video with 289,000 views is a non-narrated video of walking through a snow storm, and I recently uploaded two short videos of Cortlandt Alley, both in narrated and non-narrated format. The non-narrated version currently has about 1,500 more views than the narrated version. I will continue to make both styles of videos, and I enjoy making both equally. I’ve experimented with a live mini map as well, but stopped as the app I need to run on my phone while recording videos such as these makes it so I’m unable to use my phone and frequently crashed as well. Many people found it distracting to have it on screen (it’s also extra work to upload both versions of a video - a map version and a no map version). I believe the time stamps to locations in the video are sufficient if one were to follow the route on Google Maps. Thanks for your suggestions!
For me a well known area in down town Manhattan as a tourist repeater. I prefer the "Indian summer" above the winter in NYC. Ruud Mulder The Netherlands NYC fan.
K., your potential is growing and growing and just on a master degree. - Now it's time, I think, to have an interactive map of NYC with als streets marked that you already walked along. - Plz go to the NYC Tourist Information and ask them for paying a programmer who creates such a map. It is not very much work in HTML5 - even me could do that. All he needs is a list "FROM - to -to … TO" and the street names.
Hello! Thanks for your videos! I have two questions. Do you process video or sound on your computer after shooting? Also, is the sound recorded on GoPro?
...random comment but I'd hate to have to do demolition in NYC. I bet your insurance has to be all inclusive with every bell and whistle available from an insurer, and I don't even want to know how much a roll off dumpster like the 30 cu. yard dumpsters at 14:35 cost to rent. Here in Texas they go from $500 - $1,000 but you can usually keep them several days and don't need permits UNLESS you keep on at your house. I'm sure in NYC it's a PITA to rent those out. Sorry, still in work mode. Awesome video as always!!
@5:28 I noticed the sign People With Aids Plaza. Is that a place that was dedicated to people who lost their lives from that disease or a place to get help with HIV?
Thank you for your efforts , perhaps you may give a narrative to someone who never saw new york please , I just want to know what do they do inside these big buildings, thank you very much newyorker bro ! kiss
I live 5 blocks away; yet this is the area where--if you were to blindfold me and spin me around a couple of times--I will take off in the wrong direction every single time.
What's the story behind the French flag at City Hall? Is it because of the architect and style? Also, I'm sure you know about the little area around City Hall where you can see into the old abandoned Subway station?
actionkid105 idk I'd rather that it was 21:9 if I wanted to see more while letting the places look as how I would've seen it with my eyes. But that's just a suggestion, anyway thanks for showing us these places

Thank you for this great video, actionkid105! Touch of winter still visible and you captured the buildings in a beautiful twilight!
I forgot how grand the buildings in downtown Manhattan are. And doing the walk at twilight is a nice touch.

These are beautiful videos. Love the views.
One might ask wat would motivate someone to wake up so early in a cold nyc morning. Very inspirational
morning? to me that seems like afternoon/evening.
You give me a good idea, I haven’t been on that part of the NYC, on the next time that I go back to NYC, I’ll go there!
You show me my dream and the best town on this planet ! Thank u for your work ! ( from Europe )

No idea why they were half staff
Why the streets are empty? Is that normal on these days?
Yes, pretty normal. The streets are more busy during the summertime

A question for Manhattan residents, is it really a nice city & all like we see in media & Hollywood or is it just a normal city like any other one?

I’m not sure about the French flag. You’re able to see the abandoned station by staying on a southbound 6 local train at Brooklyn Bridge City Hall
