My good friend got me hooked on your videos and I’m addicted! You and Roger are my favorite resellers on social media. Always great content and so enjoyable. You two are a gorgeous couple.
As a seamstress I would be leery of buying oldl thread to use for sewing. The reason being cotton tends to rot with age. Polyester thread you would not have to worry about rotting. The best way to test if it is rotting is to take out a string of the thread and pull it, and if it breaks easily it is not good to use for sewing. If you are a collector or if you just like the colors no need to worry. Of course the old wood spools are excellent collectors items.
I believee the silver pedestal looking thing should have a tray in between it.... I have seen them with wooden trays in between the silver pieces to hold nuts or treats.
Here in AZ, seniors get 25% off on Tuesdays. And everybody gets a coupon for 20% off everyday with a $20 purchase. Also, there is no sales tax on charity purchases like Goodwill and most thrift stores. Love ❤️ your educational videos.
The pontil 18:55 on the blue vase is rough to be a Murano made piece. Not all Murano pieces are marked or sticker Ed. The bottoms will be very smooth and very clear. Nativity looks like a Kirkland product. That seeing box is awesome. One of my weaknesses. Cat anything is hot right now. Especially, black ones!
Hi dear, fyi THE UPC LABEL STARTED BEING USED JUNE 1974. So things with the label could date back to the 70’s. Since I learned this I’ve found a lot more vintage items. I love your videos and I’m always looking and waiting for your new video to drop. Lol. Keep shopping; we love it! ❤😊
I went to a Goodwill here in Florida this week and can not believe the outrageous pricing, it is NOTHING like your Goodwill in PA Karen and I was thinking of you while shopping, you are so lucky to have fairly decent pricing. Love to see all of your treasures. Have a blessed weekend!!
Just a matter of time before all Goodwills start pulling the best stuff to sell on eBay themselves. Or auction off. Why shouldn’t they make the profits resellers do.
Tell Roger that I found and sold a pair of Laker shorts and made 42.00! I played sports when I was younger..so thanks to watching what he buys, I'm doing pretty good! Love your channel!
That's silver thing that looked like a candlestick possibly had a plate with a hole in it that would get screwed in the middle there maybe like a serving piece? Just a guess
The blue vase has a scavo coating, I don't believe they're made Murano but made in Spain. I was just doing a search on them even if it is Italian it's I'm almost positive it's not Murano but I could be wrong. They still sell well.
Hello I just wanted to let you know I love all your videos and watch everyone you post. I love the ones when Roger makes an appearance. You two are the best looking, cutest, funniest couple I e ever watched. I love both of your personalities and think they are perfect for each other. From what I see. Lol. Just keep it up you are awesome !!
Loved it all !!! Can't pick a favorite but if I have to it has to be the Nativity Set. Thanks for taking us shopping . I look forward to each and every one ! Roger looks so handsome in blue . You both are gorgeous !
I have so much fun watching you guys! I thought the rabbit fur bear at the end was such a surprising and fun find! I always learn so much watching your videos. Thank you so much for sharing!
Now, Karen this was a super fun time treasure-shopping with you and Roger, the cutest couple online. Your happiness is palpable. Your videos are always interesting and enjoyable. : )
Your videos are part of my zen for the day. 😌 I love thrifting and watching other thrift as well. Wow someone used to do a lot of sewing. Great find. A cat tray ❤ yes indeed.
when taking pictures for google lense works better if you hold in your hand and use floor as background when taking picture it has been much easier to find relevant items
Got my Leopard shirt today, very nice quality, Thanks! I am happy its a larger 2x, fits perfect im in the market for more 2x 3x shirts that are like dressy/casual tunics of Johnny was flavor, great price!❤
The nativity set originally sold at Sam's club when it first opened. My family has alot of their Christmas stuff including the Nativity set. My sister still uses it every year. I collected their musical snowglobes. Nice find for the holidays.
In Upstate New York we DO NOT have Goodwills like you do in Pennsylvania where one can earn a living selling on eBay, it would be just impossible! You guys are very LUCKY and can't believe the amount and quality that is available there! I may just have to move to Pennsylvania!😊 ❤❤ your channel!
What did you guys do with Rogers's storage units full of toys & games? Such a lot to get rid of. I think the wooden spools are more interesting to people than the actual thread. Old cotton thread, like vintage natural textiles rots with age, and it really is not any good for sewing or quilting, especially on newer or computerized sewing machines we are all using now. The machines tend to not like the old thread and it keeps breaking because of how it was manufactured at the time and what new machines require. There are so many better high quality threads on the market now. If you find sets of aurifill or the specialty stretch thread that is used for sewing knit fabric, that is a new type of thread and it is very expensive and great to sew with, when making items using knit fabric like T-shirts, hoodies, joggers and drapey fashion fabric. If you find the large spools for use on a serger or overlocker that is worth reselling also. I am a quilter and sewer and have a lot of experience with thread.
It’s very hard to keep putting glasses on and off while filming and trying to push the cart and use the phone and find good items before all the other shoppers grab them! 😂
University of Michigan! Go Blue! My youngest son is attending there right now for electrical engineering but no we don’t need more U of M stuff- we are absolutely saturated
Not too long ago I won an auction for a cast iron pig bank…I got home and showed my guy and he proceeded to tell me the brass pig we already own was made in Korea from spent ammunition shells!
Columbus has good g will bins .. i do a lot of vintage & unique items sometimes it's easier to find here in small town OHIO rather than expensive name brands ,BUT im always lookin for the good stuff too ofcourse..
You two are so adorable together! Great finds. I wish our thrifting was that fantastic. Our pickin's are not as great as they were in 2022 and the prices keep scooting up. I keep hoping we'll see another great wave of stuff come through our city. We have about 16 or 17 thrift stores, some are smaller and focused so their prices are higher than the big two which have 4 (The Arc) 6 incl. bins (Goodwill) and the rest are independent. One still has low prices but they are hit and miss. I can go weeks not finding anything there. I do, however, find great paintings and other such there though...just not easy to ship. Anyhow, thanks again for a fun video. I listed all day so it was nice to go shopping through your channel! PS I want that cat tray! Not that I have a place for it.
Do the glass canister sets end up being oversized for shipping? I have a Carlton Strawberry mason jar set of four I’ve held off putting on eBay as I feel the box would need to be huge! Will they be destined for your booth instead? That may be where my set ends up, likely closer to spring.
Loved the Cat tray. ❤. The mikasa set was nice but too expensive. Couldn’t you talk to goodwill about the way it was priced? Maybe they would have repriced it as a set. I have done that actually. Mind you I’m not a reseller. Love your channel. Kim in 🇨🇦
I have that sewing basket with legs although I store the legs inside it. Mine may be larger. There isn’t any thread holders in mine. I use it to store bleach and stain remover in my laundry room.
Looks like a really good Goodwill store. But as a former shopoholic who is actively downsizing, I take a load to goodwill every month but don't dare go in there. One thing though, what is wrong with Macy's? Many years ago I worked at Macys in downtown San Francisco, and it was pretty upscale. 🌺
Also, the vintage Green thread reminds me of my mother. I inherited her thread stash when she died 23 years ago, and still have some. It included wooden spools from the 50's!
Hi Karen & Roger! I enjoy going thrifting with you two! You make it very interesting as in Roger trying on the helmut & your commentary! Most thrifting videos ~ I no longer care to watch as they all feel the same! Patty 🎃👻🦇 Alberta 🇨🇦🍁
Hi, I bought 6 Franklin Mint Toshi Yoshida bird prints from the thrift store. I sold them for 1000.00 dollars. Some are worth good money.
The brass rocking horse is a great vintage Christmas decor piece!
My good friend got me hooked on your videos and I’m addicted! You and Roger are my favorite resellers on social media. Always great content and so enjoyable. You two are a gorgeous couple.
My favorites, too! They both do their own thing, but they compliment each others buying and selling techniques.
I appreciate that! You are a sweetheart 🥰
I think the silver thing was supposed to be a candelabra, but was missing the candle holder part.
As a seamstress I would be leery of buying oldl thread to use for sewing. The reason being cotton tends to rot with age. Polyester thread you would not have to worry about rotting. silver thing is the middle part of a cake plate (2 tier) or pastry plate
Your honey looks so good in BLUE! You are a great couple and I enjoy you both so much!

A tip - You might want to check the thread to see if it breaks easily or not. Some threads degrade over time. For future purchases of course.

Roger has a cart?!!! So many times he runs ahead without getting a cart, you are training him well!🤣 Just love you guys shopping together!
“The house is jumpin”. 😂😂. That’s what I’m gonna say when I go thrifting now.

Great job! He will love it! 😁👍
I have that rocking horse love the metal I just have it in my library
I will pick up anything that will bring me money. I feel so good watching your videos!
Karen, that screw together thing looks like a tid bit tray center piece. The tray is missing.
That's silver thing that looked like a candlestick possibly had a plate with a hole in it that would get screwed in the middle there maybe like a serving piece? Just a guess
You and Roger are in such great shape, what do y'all do to stay fit? So cute❤
My guess is they stay fit by keeping busy, stay moving and (most importantly) are HAPPY.
Thrift 😂
The blue vase has a scavo coating, I don't believe they're made Murano but made in Spain. I was just doing a search on them even if it is Italian it's I'm almost positive it's not Murano but I could be wrong. They still sell well.
That blue vase is beautiful, it looks to be real Sacco Glass vase, that’s a great find!!!
I thought of Mellissa as soon as I saw the pink shell lamp, then you mentioned her...lol..
Lori at Boston Found just purchased 3 bags of vintage Hallmark ornaments

Michigan Big BLUE Baby!!!!
I think the silver tone "candlestick" is for serving o'dourves and missing a plate in the middle
Love love those dogs Karen
I think The Best deal that you got in that Thrift outing was your Roger ;)
I have so much fun watching you guys! I thought the rabbit fur bear at the end was such a surprising and fun find! I always learn so much watching your videos. Thank you so much for sharing!
Even if you do not buy something, you had fun.
Karen the glass Vase might be Emile Galle or Ion Tamaian Famous Romaian Glass Blown very pricey!
Hello , I wish I had that good will , mine not good , I went Saturday , walked out with nothing
The dogs are too cute.
I like Rogers thinking. “Anything good to make money on”.
I'm happy U took the snack he was bringing U with so much ❤️!
What a terrific day of shopping! So enjoy you & Roger together - Love the Nativity set & best wishes to you both!🥰 🧡
Now, Karen this was a super fun time treasure-shopping with you and Roger, the cutest couple online. Your happiness is palpable. Your videos are always interesting and enjoyable. : )
Love to watch you guys shopping ,
Love The Abilono Trivet❤❤❤ Great Finds Guyz !!!
Great fun video
University of Michigan shorts- Go Blue!
The blue glass vase at 15:40 may be finished with scavo technique. It was an acid wash to imitate a vase unearthed from an archeological dig, I think?
you 2 are definitely #COUPLE GOALS!!!!
Thanks so much! We are having a blast 😂
I did alot of sewing in the past, yes, thread is high. god buy. Good score on the Xmas ornaments. love watching you two!
Your videos are part of my zen for the day. 😌 I love thrifting and watching other thrift as well. Wow someone used to do a lot of sewing. Great find. A cat tray ❤ yes indeed.
I bet that mystery pirce is a fingertip/hand towel towel holder
Always a fun time with you and Roger!❤
I didn't know one could take a pic of something and just google it. Nice to know. Thanks for passing along your knowledge.
when taking pictures for google lense works better if you hold in your hand and use floor as background when taking picture it has been much easier to find relevant items
You two are so funny.😀 Thanks for taking us along. Please let use know what the cat and bear sell for.🥰
I'm surprised Roger was hangin' with you instead of thrifting on his own! Love the Mikasa true blue bowls & dishes, lovely.
I love them as well! I love dishes! I don’t mind shipping them! I started reselling with a set of Julie Ueland dishes!
They’re waiting on new stuff to come out.
Got my Leopard shirt today, very nice quality, Thanks! I am happy its a larger 2x, fits perfect im in the market for more 2x 3x shirts that are like dressy/casual tunics of Johnny was flavor, great price!❤
I use thrift thread all the time for products for resale. I only use thread not on the old wooden spools. All others are good. Never had a complaint.
You and Roger have fun wherever you go! Good luck deciding what items to downsize!
The nativity set originally sold at Sam's club when it first opened. My family has alot of their Christmas stuff including the Nativity set. My sister still uses it every year. I collected their musical snowglobes. Nice find for the holidays.

Check the threads hun, it sometimes is too old and breaks easily.
Also is the option of double threading if hand sewing.
Such a great video you two.....loved it today
If the thread is old, it could be rotten and will break easily. Happened to me.
So many great items....and some laughs from you two...
I definitely would have picked up the thread. Great find!
That’s a great color on Roger!
What did you guys do with Rogers's storage units full of toys & games? Such a lot to get rid of. I think the wooden spools are more interesting to people than the actual thread. They had a garage sale... she did a video of it. Maybe 3-4 weeks ago.
We had a huge yard sale and filmed it!
Rodger and you are the best and a great looking couple. Enjoy y’all shopping together💯💯
only thing I know about glass is look for a highly polished bottom a sign of quality and any artists signatures ... that is it for my knowledge
Nativity Set looked nice!👍🏻
I wish resellers would put there readers on when shopping, I want to know what it says on the bottom or otherwise
I paid $20 for the pig and just sold it for $75
I should film at our local goodwills
I like the helmet Roger! 🏍️
The ashtray is missing, most like Kelly glass🥰
That’s a great Goodwill. I live in Ohio and have yet to find one that’s as nice.
Columbus has good g will bins .. i do a lot of vintage & unique items sometimes it's easier to find here in small town OHIO rather than expensive name brands ,BUT im always lookin for the good stuff too ofcourse..
We are in Akron and the Goodwill stores in the area aren't too bad. Can be pricey though
The blue vase isn't Murano, the pontil scar is very rough. It looks like vintage Spanish glass. I would still pick it up, it's a nice vase.
Went to Goodwill today and just was not into it. Left with 3 things.
Awesome haul,
especially the Nativity set. Hi Roger.
Hi Karen an roger lv Ann uk ❤️❤️❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Greatest couple. Love you guys ♥️
Love watching you 2 ❤❤❤
Hi I would love to buy the round wooden sewing box
It should be listed by next week 😊
You two are so adorable together!

Fun video!
That metal stand is a plate holder for a cake stand
Great video!!
Always fun watching my friends hunt for treasure.🍀👏♥️💙🐨🦘
Are you familiar with glasses baby candle holders, some are big money, look them up🥰
Yes I’ve heard about them a few years back 💜
Hi GRANDAMA ENGLAND again love your hauls, especially the cats lol, Iwould buy loads from you, but shipping etc, is crippling, god blessx
Love the video ❤❤❤
Love you guys 💕💕
I think that might be a fingertip towel holder missing the ring?
Do the glass canister sets end up being oversized for shipping? I have a Carlton Strawberry mason jar set of four I’ve held off putting on eBay as I feel the box would need to be huge! Will they be destined for your booth instead? That may be where my set ends up, likely closer to spring.

The legs have gone missing on your sewing stand?
Yes, they are made to be taken off if desired & many times they’re removed
I have that sewing basket with legs although I store the legs inside it. Mine may be larger. There isn’t any thread holders in mine. I use it to store bleach and stain remover in my laundry room.
No to the bear and cat.
I need that cat plate in my life.

The pandemic and internet happened to a lot of brick and mortar stores
Nothing is wrong with Macys! Any department store that has luxury brands usually carry a cheaper version
Hi Karen & Roger! I enjoy going thrifting with you two! You make it very interesting as in Roger trying on the helmut & your commentary! Most thrifting videos ~ I no longer care to watch as they all feel the same!
