- HRT is not low dose birth control for women in menopause. So many women tell me they won't try hormone replacement therapy (HRT) because they had bad experiences with hormonal birth control.
HRT and birth control are different pharmaceuticals. They are different chemicals with extremely different effects on the body.
If you didn't like how birth control made you feel, don't let that keep you away from hormone replacement therapy.
In the talk, I cover common questions and concerns, including:
* The chemical differences between hormonal birth control and HRT
* Why those differences matter
* Risks of birth control vs HRT
* Side effects of birth control vs HRT

Thank you for this
Wow! I could be wrong here, but it almost seems like birth control itself can contribute to the cause of something like endometriosis. I’m shocked!
well my gyn only prescribes rx for HRT (covered by insurance)... My insurance doesn't cover the bioidentical hormones.. am i not getting a benefit?
In bio identical progesterone there is a titanium dioxide as part in of composition. If woman takes it every day it’s not safe.
What to do in that case ?
My GP has me on topical estradiol and a Mirena for progesterone. Is this the same as the HRT progesterone?
Whats the bio identical hormones made from ?
What are your thoughts on the new bioidentical E4 Estrogen Estetrol which is currently using a new birth control called nexstellis?
Thank you for sharing this information. I wonder how many different estrogens there are. Is there an E9? That science knows about or maybe hasn’t discovered yet but exists?
Why can’t all those warnings be taken off for bio identical hormones?!
What are your thoughts on the new bioidentical estrogen E4 Estetrol currently approved for use in birth control pills Brand name ‘Nextstellis’
