    ☆☆☆☆☆. I've been smelling exhaust pipes for years. It's a great indication to many things with the engine. Fantastic sound to the ears.

    Sweet sound. I’d be questioning if the alternator is functioning as it should. And possibly the wiring to the battery. Even during idle it should be pumping over 13v. But all in all a sweet tone out back. Easy on the eyes out front. Another great job boys. 👍🏽

    Thanks guys. Good timing (see what I did there?) to see this video as I'm setting up an ICE system in my GXL. A video on coolings system would be great. eg Cleveland thermostat, types of fans and your tips on how to install this dual fan PWR kit. Thanks again.

    Ice ignition can be very finicky but is well worth the trouble, top quality product. Voltage is everything for the ice, great video boys

    Check voltage at the back of the positive pole on the alternator maybe get voltage drop between that and the battery

    Yes, iv tried to tell people not to let a V8 idle when new or even after. The first thing is the crank will endfloat back and forth aswell as everything else is out of syncrinisity. Start em and rev em a bit also. Good show guys.

    To lean just above idle , ajust your idle screws a little fatter , that whisle will go away .....

    nice simple engines…easy to work on…all the power and torque a man could ever want and more…i could do without the electronics….old school 4 barrel Holley would have done me…

    Got a question on the pointer do you set the timing on top or bottom of the pointer it self

    • @thebrisbanebrothers8332
      @thebrisbanebrothers8332  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I use a piece of wire or a smalll screwdriver on the piston to feel when it rocks and to work out exactly where the pointer points to the harmo it’s usually lined up quite well I’ve only had to modify one pointer to point to the right spot. You could buy timing tape from MSD and stick it over the harmo to correct the pointer if it’s a few degrees out too

    Question for you lads if you were to run a 351c out of a single exhaust what diameter pipe would you be using to avoid choking it down?

    Why would you go to all that trouble and still run the boat anchor spreadbore manifold

    That air cleaner is way too small for that carburettor, the surface area is way to small.

    • @TheRCMaster
      @TheRCMaster 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I was many years ago victim of the small air cleaner, just trying to show off my brand new carby going for the "look" later I discovered the motor Actually sucked all the material our of the filter and just left behind the mesh screen part 😅 now I only run 14" X 2.5 minimum filter size on any high performance clevo
