Xzibit is old school, there were times when rappers meant every word they said and scratched hearts with lyrics. Big respect for him. And Sharon is beyond beautiful as always.
It's one of my favorite Within Temptation songs..very powerful in its message. As a guy who suffered from depression, and alcoholism for years...breaking free from the pain and addiction...could be one of the meanings to this song. At the end of the song you see that XZIBIT broke free and released himself from the darkness where he was living. Others have likened it to "The Matrix"... which is also a viable explanation. But whatever it is...it's a really good song!

Personally I don't like rap music just not my cup of tea. Having said that this is AWESOME who said RAP & SYMPHONIC METAL would not work. This goes on to my playlist.

Normally i can't stand Rap at all, but in this song its really great integrated and it works really great.
