I don’t think I’ve ever heard a mix of metal and rap that DIDN’T work. The two work so so well together. It’s the reason I’ve never hated rap itself like so many others (I cut my teeth on Hollywood Undead- awesome band btw), but instead specifically the mainstream, mumble-type stuff.

Great band, great reaction to a great song. I am now 60 dot tickets for Nigjtwish, Epica and within temptation. Them moving from UK to the Sun with my partner to live life. Done 40 years now fun. Respect your comments

Some of the Within Temptation collaborations are fantastic, this one included, although rap fan I am not. My favourite is "The Whole World Is Watching", which they did with two different singers, both great. Their albums are very diverse, but on the whole, epic, would be a fitting description.
Same here, rap is maybe the music genre i can stand the least, but ist maybe because for me melody is most important and rap mostly has no melody at all, but here he raps over the symhonic music and even Sharon mostly sings in the back, and that makes it really good.

another great track, their clips are always stunning. The reckoning is one of the only ones missing and really recommend it. The instrument used in the intro really brings another level to it, shivers everytime. When you eventually run out of WT tracks, muse's resistance always follows on this one in my playlist. While checking muse, roskilde version of hysteria (with munich jam) and plugin baby (both live) are highly recommended. Apocalyptica for some more epic collaborations, serj tankian for some very strong message music

Like i said before, i'm absolute no fan of rap at all, but here with the underlying music and Sharons vocals it comes across really nice, and in the end its also a bit like the beauty and beast style we often have just with growling instead. And of course the visuals are also spectacular and make it really great 🥰
