He has three daughters. Hailey is his biological daughter. Kims sister was sick and died young. Her daughter, Alanya (Laney) lived with Em and Kim and Em adopted her (she is the oldest girl in the video). While Em and Kim where on a break, she had a child with another man. Her name is Whitney and Em adopted her too. They are alle in their 20-ties now. Hailey studies psycology and graduated with honors from college. He definitely did something right 😊😊😊❤❤❤
Idk how old his interview with Mike Tyson is but in it he had mentioned Whitney was 16

Whitney is still in her teens and Kim’s sister wasn’t “sick” her and her husband were drug addicts and they died of an overdose in 2016.

it is a very emotional song. Many of Eminem's early music was so much about his life. One thing you could always believe about Em is that he is a devoted father.
Someone gave some wrong info (even spelt their names wrong), yet they're top liked comment...bruh. Hailie, Alaina and Stevie are Ems children. Stevie used to be called Whitney and uses they/them. Alaina was Ems Niece until he adopted her, and now he calls her daughter, and she calls him dad. Stevie is the child of Ems ex-wife (they were married 2 times, after they divorced the first time they got back together years later and remarried) Kim and her ex partner Eric. And Lainey is the daughter of Kim's sister who had addictions. She was of course unfit to be a mother. Alaina is now 29 nearly 30. Hailie is 27, her bday is 25th December. Stevie is now 20 nearly 21.

Lovely reaction! 👍 I highly recommend more reactions to Eminem. He has a lot of funnier/trolling songs, a lot of angrier songs, a lot of motivational songs, a lot where he just shows off his amazing technical skill, and a lot of emotional ones like this where he just pours his soul out. On any given day, I may be more in the mood for one category over another, but I do often gravitate toward the more emotional ones.
I got all up in my nostalgic feels as soon as I heard that he was going to be part of the Super Bowl Halftime show, and I’ve been doing a deep dive through his whole discography. I’ve learned more and more about his personal story/struggles and the effect those have had on him personally and professionally, and have learned so much more about the brilliance behind his lyrics and the delivery of those lyrics (Knox Hill breaks down hip-hop like no one else, and has given me a much greater appreciation for Em than I already had). Eminem’s mind and pen have gotten sharper with age, which is almost impossible to comprehend given how high he set the bar over 20 years ago. 🤯
As others have mentioned, “When I’m Gone” is in a very similar vein to this one. For other songs where it’s Marshall just baring his soul, I’d recommend “Beautiful” (he started writing it while in rehab, contemplating whether or not to walk away from his career), “Walk On Water” (generally about the pressure of living up to expectations), “Leaving Heaven” (generally about the anger/pain of growing up without his father), and his feature on Yelawolf’s track “Best Friend” (largely deals with the loss of his best friend, Proof, that sent him on a downward spiral). I personally think “Best Friend” and “Leaving Heaven” may be his two very best pieces of work.
Also, as a vet, you’d probably appreciate a live version of “Not Afraid” that Eminem did for an audience made up largely of servicemen/servicewomen. If I can find the video again, I’ll edit the comment to add in a link.
