- We have been invited out to York Dungeons to experience their new walking tour around the city of York.
We headed to York for an action packed day full of fun and frights as we started the day off in the Dungeons which we were asked not to film in. Gaz got picked on quite a bit and Anj managed to escape the dungeon unharmed 😂
After spending an hour in the York dungeons we then went on the walking tour with the Black Jester and Smedley. We headed around York city taking in the sights whilst also hearing about the horrible history of the iconic town.

Tours are currently available 3 days a week (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) and run 4 times daily from 12pm every hour and a half. Tickets with Merlin annual pass discount are £5 for Adults & £4 for Children.
A Ticket for both the Dungeon and the Walking Tour without a pass is £21.60

the characters must have such a laugh doing this job, also must get incredibly warm/cold in the costumes they wear love it! Going to the dungeons tomorrow, my 2nd time, really excited!

I can confirm having worked there that it does get very hot in there sometimes. I didn't do the walking tours, but as a tour guide, I can certainly confirm it cen get very cold out there, so I hope they have a few layers under those costumes.

Exactly, this isnt something we'd usually do but given the chance we decided to give it a go and we're so glad that we did it. Defo worth a visit if you're going that way for sure. The walking tour is so cheap too for what you get.
