these guns should be perfect except for wear and tear and age that sometimes make them fail, but they have to be proofed to make sure they work. what you have there i think is something that someone has cobbled together and not even tested to see if it works, because you had to make these parts work together as one, when they are probably from different guns.

Hi. You do top shelf work. Questions: is it a tig welder you use and is the Hacksaw a Dixon? I've not seen high quality jeweller's hacksaws before, we usually only see very cheap overseas mini hacksaws in retail shops, but even those have been scarce since about 2019 - 2020.

Thanks, I have an arc welder and a mig, I used the arc welder on this. I'm not sure what the hacksaw is, it came to me from my uncle when he passed away.

I've watched every single one of your videos. They are brilliant, but the sound is awful. Wish you could improve that. On another subject, is it possible to buy guns like these from an antique dealer or do you need a gun license to do it?

Thanks for watching and thanks for the feedback regarding the sound, I'll look into improving it. In the UK you don't need a firearms license to purchase and possess an antique gun. However, if you want to shoot it you do need a firearms certificate and have the gun registered on the certificate.
