the thing I love about all of these guitar covers and lessons is when they do the intro to enter sandman they always get it wrong as the D string always has to ring so you end up using your pinkie finger on the A string and your middle finger on the D stringer and use your index and your remaining finger to go on the E string and then you will notice the D strong never stops ringing like it should do.

Going through a divorce years ago your lessons helped me get better. I took a few actual lessons that helped until a wrist injury 6 months ago. I am now able to write my own songs and play...singing is not my greatest but the playing and lyrics make up for it. This is a long class so taking it in bits but can't wait to put it all together. I don't play the guitar (yet 😉) but my cousin has one at his house and I borrowed it to try and play a few classic rock songs and all of a sudden I figured out the riff of Enter Sandman. An inexperienced dude like me who plays the clarinet, alto sax and piano somehow managed to play the riff of one of Metallica's most badass songs ever🎸
While in the intro the notes are correct Hetfield plays it with his pinky on the 7th of the A and middle finger on 5th of the D and those two fingers don’t move, then he uses his ring finger for 6 on the E and his index for 5 on the E

Set the playback speed to half and skip to 15:17 haha. I had to in order to get the strumming pattern right. These are the best lessons on TH-cam, by and far. I think I've learned almost half a dozen songs so far just on this channel.

for anyone struggling with the powershord slide like I was, I switched to index and pinky instead of ring finger and it helped quite a but, I also keep m,y thumb above the fret board to help move quicker on those slides
You got some of the best lessons I have seen on youtube. Very easy to follow and by the end of each video I just practice aa few minutes playing thru what you showed me and in a matter of minutes I can play thru the song at a decent speed.

I know it's an old comment but any one struggling with this chord. Try learn smells like teen spirit by nirvana it helps practice that chord wonderfully.
your intro is right but incomplete, after playing what you taught twice, the drums starts and at the end of the progression instead of E string 6th to 5th, it goes D string 8th to 7th, which repeats twice and the distortion sounds begin, great lesson as always though :) (I'm sorry if i make no sense hehehe)

I know it's an old comment but any one struggling with this chord. Try learn smells like teen spirit by nirvana it helps practice that chord wonderfully.
your intro is right but incomplete, after playing what you taught twice, the drums starts and at the end of the progression instead of E string 6th to 5th, it goes D string 8th to 7th, which repeats twice and the distortion sounds begin, great lesson as always though :) (I'm sorry if i make no sense hehehe)
