I raced one in my car during the sumner of 84 but i couldn't get my car to go over 125mph. The bike shifted one more gear and walked away from me at 125mph. I'll never forget that memory and it awakened my need for speed and me owning several sport bikes up until 2015 with the yamaha R1 being the last sport bike I've ridden in 2015. Seeing this video is gnawing away at my desire to ride again.
These were nice bikes. I bought a red one (Canadian Version) brand new in '83. I sold it in '89 and it was still like new. Great looking bikes, and very fast and reliable.

big dent on the rear rim and the fairing doesn't match. I had one. top speed 153mph
