    I cant believe I stumbled onto this just hours after you posted it. I have an 1100F in my garage and it has been my favorite bike since I bought it new in 1983. Have several other newer ones but I just cant seem to part with that one. This might be the year. Wife has said no more until I get rid of some. I will be watching your updates with interest !! I see on your site you have an XX. That is my current ride also. My CB1100F is #993.

    Just followed you, I have a left for dead 900f that's been sitting around for a few years, I'm going to go the way of restomod for her, but I have no doubts there is some very valuable information here. I have an original honda repair manual

    This will be interesting as I used to have a 82 CB900F that I swapped some 1100F parts onto. The one thing that everybody asked about was the oil cooler. It was a direct swap
    to my 900F and hardly anyone knew it was off an 1100F but they saw it was wider than the stock 900F cooler. I'll be watching!

    Peter, you must have amazing patience and organizational skills, something I lack...I have watched your work for years, and I'm looking forward to the transformation of this bike.
    I currently own a Canadian model CB1100F I've had it for 12 years, and it still looks as good as the day I bought it from a friend.

    Yaay! Another absolute favourite bike of mine! I always thought the choices made by Honda US/Honda Canada were strange for the 1100F. You guys got the square headlight, bikini fairing and cast aluminum "Sabre" wheels (as I think of them) while up here, we got a round headlight, no fairing, and the gold anodized "CX 500Turbo" ComStar wheels. Can't wait for the next vid and ones to follow! One thing- ewww, please don't put back on one of those hideous looking engine guards...

      Hi L
      I agree with you on the engine guards.
      The CBX guards are so much more in sync with the design of the bike. Not sure what I am going to do, but the engine parts are so scarce for these bikes, and they saved this bike from much more serious damage, I may have to install them. But at least they are black and kind of blend in.

    If I see youre 1100F I see my 900 F 180 Days before. Yesterday i tock that bike back from the lifter after that long time. I only had time to restore that bike after my dayly work. My bike is nearly finished here in Germany. It is nice to see youre new project. Cant wait to see more.

      Hi Will, Thank you. your bike looks great. I love the euro 900F. I love the 79 900F in blue the most. I wanted one so bad in 1980 when I visited Europe. The US did not have them yet. Then we finally got them in 1981, and I was first in line to buy one :)

      digitalpizza in Germany the parts are so expensive for the 79 CB900. That’s why I have to repair so much. Especially for all the painted parts from 79 I can pay an other one. I have been in SAN Francisco about 10 years ago. I am shocked to see what is going on there. God bless you and you’re Family. Here in my City we have the same Gost Town.

      Thank you Cafe, in a way, the quiet San Francisco is a nice break. But it is sad as to why it is quiet. It is still a beautiful City, and the people are getting out and going to the parks, walking, and enjoying the down time, which is a good thing. And their dogs are loving it LOL. Maybe we all need to reset :)

    Do you know if the tail section and stock seat on a 900F would fit on an 1100F ? great videos on the 1100F and CBX Thanks Barry

    Hi there , I am restoring a CB 900 Boldor 1981 here in Australia, and am missing quite a few parts and was wondering if you had any of these I could buy from you. Side Kick stand, front headlight, right hand side ignition start module, left had side indicator headlight, horn assembly, Front brake master Cylinder, Oil filter bolt and spring ?. I know this is a long shot, but if not could you suggest a supplier or Ebay dealer to get the parts from ? Thank you for your assistance.

    I am looking for the chain guard for an 1100F, I know it's metal. where as the 759F,900F is plastic. Would those fit on the 1100F as well

    • @digitalpizza1
      @digitalpizza1  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don’t think the plastic one will fit as the 1100 F swingarm is different than the 900 F swingarm.
      The 1100 F chain guard is relatively easy to find on eBay.

      @@digitalpizza1 I had seen one on Ebay for $150 in ok shape. Thanks for letting me know the 750 an 900 wont fit

    The batch on the side cover shows CB 750 F. Did they replace the original 1100 covers?

    • @digitalpizza1
      @digitalpizza1  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Jurgen, those particular covers came from a 750 which are identical to the 900 and 1100F covers. So I will have those painted and apply the correct 1100F decals
