  • This is a follow-up dyno run to the one we did in September. I shimmed the needles in the carbs to lower the AFR and slightly richen the mixture. This fairly easy mod dialed the carbs in exactly where they need to be. The bike runs even better than ever now. Max HP is 103.75 with 73 ft-lbs of torque. Motor is rebuilt with a Wiseco 1123 big bore kit. HP is what I expected.

    Nice sound. I much prefer hearing the engine under load. Revving the engine in neutral doesn’t get my interest. I have one of these in my garage now waiting for attention. Thanks for the inspiration.

      I am looking to acquire a cb1100f if anyone is looking to part with a non-runner that would be going to a good home.

      We need a friction roller thing in the floor to load it without riding it ? I noticed setting tools down go ride it a distance and if it needs more adjustment i have to go back and get the tools .

    That’s a great bike. Love the sound.
    Retro is all go at the minute.
    I’ve a GSX1400, a really nice CBR1000F 1988, and 2 650 katanas.
    Had the CB750F-B many years ago.
    Yours has just rekindled my interest in them again. First I’ve seen with 1123 on side panel.
    Great bike 👍

    I love your bike. I just found a cb1100f with 52k miles all original. I got the guy down to 1500 dollars, you think its worth it or you think the mileage is too high.

      Alvin, that's not a bad price if its running and all there. Decent bodywork and a good engine are worth at least a thousand dollars. But 52K miles is high for that motor, so if it hasn't been rebuilt, it will probably need to be. That will run you somewhere between $3000-$5000.

    Beautiful restoration, in my opinion it's a little down on Hp though. The bottom end is a bit chattery that could b the cause. I'd only be happy with 120hp with big bore kit and lighter wheels full exhaust. still nice Restoration though.

      Pretty pathetic for an 1123…not much higher than stock

    Yeah, awesome sound. Well done. Do you ride this on the street?

      Yes, all the time. I'm out for lunch right now and rode it out to a hot dog stand near the local reservoir. The bike is a blast to ride.

    what is the swing arm from? 900RR?

    • @tomkerxhalli1783
      @tomkerxhalli1783  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The swingarm is from a 2012 CBR600RR. That swinger is still in use on the current models.
