Glad you were able to get this and review it for us all! If you weren't gifted it to review though, would you have paid $1,000-1,500 on your own for it? If you break it down and compare the cost of a physical person(whether hired out or part of the fam) mopping your floors, I'd imagine it would pay for itself in less than a year. Still, the upfront cost definitely needs to come down for most people to feel this robo-vac is affordable.
But could this really do even close to a human mopping the floor? In my experience with mopping devices it's def no. Maybe this one is diff. Better be for that price😊
Great video. of course I mentally checked out once you started talking about installation of the water system 😊. If I purchased this, this would be my third mop system. Everyone I've had, the water is always dirty, but any hardened things on the floor still stay there. Maybe this one will be different. Thanks for all the info
Thanks Brett. We're in the process of remodeling much of our Home. That includes getting rid of WtoW Carpeting. This certainly appeals to that scenario. I'd love to have it 😊. You're New House looks Beautiful. JaneLee - in Suburban Philadelphia 6/16/23
I hope Narwal’s next gen has D shape with roller as wide as body, hot mopping, and auto dust bin empty, would be perfect. With the water exchange system, can you no longer use cleaning solution?
Thanks for the video, I have a large areas on the 2nd floor, I brought the whole set to the 2nd floor try to teach it to do the work. It does not seem working.
If you move the base station you will need to remap it. I suggest keeping it on the main floor and then you can pick up Narwal and take it to the second floor and create a second map.
I figured it out. It is mapping the 2nd floor now. The reason I took the whole thing to the 2nd floor is that it will be able to wash the mop while doing the job on the 2nd floor. I am still testing. I wish I have a budge for the 2 set😂 so I don’t need to move the whole thing up and down 😂
I have the older narwal and it does a great job at mopping even better than if mopping by hand… no streaks . Needs a little help with dried stains but am assuming freo is better with that. Gave up on app cuz always had issues. Looking into getting the freo just wondering how you attach the dirty water pipe to drain? Does it just fit with the washer drain pipe? Instructions say to use a dirty water t pipe but have not found at store or on the narwal website.
Yeah we love the mopping. I just put the drain pipe in the washer drain and there was nothing else I needed to do there. The water line was where I had to figure out how to split my washer water line. I was able to find 2 pieces at home Depot that made it work. 1. Everbilt 3/4 FH X 3/4 FH X 3/4 MH WYE BRASS 2.Everbilt 3/4" MHT X 1/2" MIP ADAPTER BRASS
This thing I have a love hate relationship with.. IT won't let me connect with my phone.. Just an error.. The first trial run or two it would go in the same area over and over again.. Still won't go onto the carpet so I have to use the vacuum.. It gives no alarm that I am aware of when the vacuum container is full.. I do love the water tanks and the self cleaning. with its alarms when full.... I would not trust it to do a clean job on a 1500 sq ft area. I think a small apartment might be great.. The price is HIGH for its capabilities.. BUT I do like it keeping up with our three dog household .. Just don't expect it to do it all you will still need to vacuum and mop.. ;)
I ordered the bespoke samsung 4 door, but I am afraid the doors are too thick and the fridge will stick out too much. It also from the pictures has the black sides? Can you paint them stainless stell to match the stainless steel front panels?
I love the way Freo cleans, my only issue is that the app keeps saying the robot is disconnected from my network. I can manage the cleaning from the base station but not when I want to place a no-go zone on the map because why? Because the app keeps saying it's disconnected from my network which isn't true because everything else on phone is still connected. I know it's a software issue but it is annoying.
I will never buy a Narwal product again. Since I purchased it, it has only caused problems. The customer service is poor, they are unwilling to fix the issues, and they completely mishandled the situation from the start.
What room in your home could use the Freo mode?

We have Narwal mop and been using it for about 2 years. Works great! We highly recommend it.
It's great to hear the long term review! Thanks Paul.
Great review video. This Narwal Freo really impresses me and it is the first time I realize that robot is really changing our world quickly.

Thanks Brett. So far, so good 👍🏻.
Good news for Me - My Husband Liked The Vacuum & Mop 😊.

Can you do a review of the Scooba 230? It's also a robot mop, similar to the Narwal Freo Vacuum and Mop.
Better then a regular mop.
But what do you with steps in the flat ?
You might be able to use spot clean on them. You can take it to another floor and it will map that and switch between floors maps when you move it.
unfortunate that it doesn't have a dustbin empty function/container in the dock station

Any luck on getting it to connect to the phone? If so you may have an area set to not vacuum.

I learned so much from this and it is so cool.
Probably a lot of maintenance and upkeep with that
I got the narrow freeze fridge raider

I saw that issue that other night. I unplugged the base station and plugged it back in and I think it fixed itself.
@@TechWithBrett Yes, mine fixed itself too!
Is the discount still available?
Looks like a nice device but it is about double the price I expected.

Do you like the vacuum
It does a good job but fills up pretty quick. The new version will be able to hold up to 7 weeks of dirt.
😮
Denn❤
Dirty water goes in the toilet bro.... never in the kitchen sink...lol. Wife is going to kill you!
Shh... The good news is now it just goes out the drain!
@Tech With Brett you're right. That's a game changer!!
I love my roborock s7 max. How does the 2 vacuums match up?
BTW.. happy Father's Day!!
plain lazy!
Yeah, that's the point less chores, sign me up.
