My father would love the Nest Hub, aside from all the features, the photo frame would be nice to see the latest photos of all his grand kids!
You can even make a shared Google Photos album and you can share new photos with him at any time.
@@TechWithBrett that's exactly what I was thinking. We could Duo with him, too! This also gives us more gift options in years to come as we could expand his smart home with lights, cameras, and so much more. Pretty soon he really would "have everything he needs". 😉

I think my dad would probably like the Wyze camera to watch his dog when he's away from home. That dog gets into the craziest situations when no one's home and they have no idea how!

The biggest thing is to check compatibility to make sure all the devices work together, then use the Routines feature to have things with together.

From your list, probably the Ring floodlight, from just a tech perspective probably a much better mesh for wifi (like Devo or Unifi.) My two year old loves your channel and tries to run all of our home tech.
Those are great ideas and I'm glad he is starting his home take over from the smart home!

Great video. Actually prefer using Z-wave smart lock so I can link it to my Ring Alarm and the lock can activate and deactivate using the smart lock key pad.

I have two Ring Video Doorbell 3's and the Schlage deadbolt lock, great products. The deadbolt lock is so easy to incorporate into smart home systems and changing the batteries is super easy.. I had a Kwikset deadbolt lock prior to this one and it was difficult to get control of with Alexa. It also failed right after the 1-year warranty expired. The Schlage has a lifetime warranty.
