I have a twin turbo a cert I posted a comment in one of your other videos I am researching my engine to find out what needs to be done at six hundred eighty eight thousand miles runs good but it has a mess in the morning one puff of smoke usually sometimes maybe one or two more and it runs awesome otherwise get 7.1 miles to the gallon it is a BX motor what should I be doing other than to keep doing what I'm doing it just wants to keep going like an energizer bunny but it does not like cold weather

I'm not a genius but basic science says the more power you make the more heat your engine puts out so a twin turbo c15 is hotter than shit to begin with it cooks everything on the passenger side of the engine so if you're going to put more power by ecu tuning you should also upgrade the cooling system since the C15 twin turbo cooling system is already a crutch and the only real way to solve it in my opinion is make it a single turbo system and for a good single conversion you're going to spend somewhere in the neighborhood of 10 grand if you're lucky. But there's no point in doing that if your engine is wore out and do for a in frame. I'm not an expert I'm just relaying very popular information from people that have gone through this themselves. One good TH-cam channel is jpaydirt I think. He did a single conversion and loves it and I think he spent somewhere in the neighborhood of 7,000 and he did most of the work himself and got really lucky on some of the work that he had done by people that he knew

Thats not actually correct. I didnt read your whole comment cause i just dont care but the more power you make the easier you can work the motor. Keep in mind, 95% of the trucks you see rolling over the road are governed by max cap weight. so a 600hp 2100 tq engine is gonna pull 80k much easier up over hills and cooler than a newer 400 1700tq stuffed full of all kinds of epa garbage. Its working hard all day long. The bridge was a roach, but there was things you could do to them with some part swaps theyd run pretty good.

Jeremy Wilson hey there I have bridge motor jus gat overhaul by cat but I do wanna get these problems fixed like more horsepower better fuel mileage and less temperature engine run less then 190 so what can I do to get my motor in better shape ?

@@jassiis4327 they just did an inframe? Well that would have been a stellar time if you really had your heart set on it, but even though I bashed the MBN in my last comment, it was kind of taken out of context. Cat was really struggling with emissions, but in all actuality the MBN and the 6nz are basically the same motor. There's a few differences but not a ton. I do have some things that will deff help a lot with power and mpg that's all pretty easy and cheap even. What year make and model truck is the MBN in? And is it single or dual exhaust?

A bridge motor was only built on 2004 between 3406e and the Acer motor not the best engine but if u put the 3406e head on it u have a 3406e

@@justtruking6408 head should be the same. It's the injectors, cam, and pistons that are the big difference. That, and a wastegate and tune.
