😃In my 71 years I have never heard such an intelligent explanation on how to achieve delicious fried chicken! I’ve been rushing through the process. Now I want to follow your instructions the next time I fry. Thank you.
i've been working on mines. I watched about a month's worth of chinese frying chicken and ive seen the methods and used them, and my shit is fucking banging dude, no lie. I figured out the batters for different cuts of the chicken being used. Working on my food before I start vending. A lot of people use buttermilk, but that's just a bs gimmick in my opinion. My chicken takes 3/4 days to make, but it's worth it on every bite. Good luck!
I appreciate all the little details that people seem to forget to mention! Like, where exactly and why to make the cut into the thigh, why you only want to marinate 2 hours or else it's too strong, why we use the corn starch and not too much, why it is important to use ALOT of flour in your bowl, why we need to cover every wet area including the skin to not cause oil explosions! Dude - you are such a great teacher! Thank you so much for your attention to detail!
Meat next to the bone in *any* meat product is always the tastiest: pork chop, t-bones, chicken thighs, bony fish, etc. Your instructions are very thorough. Thank you. 🐔
I am so excited to use his exact recipe - NO SUBSTITUTES and I cannot wait. So glad you were able to achieve the best fried chicken. I look forward to mine!!!
Even though my fried chicken days will be limited having gone from 309 lbs. to 245 and continuing my journey from 245 to 172 and 10% body fat but being a fellow chef, loving great food and know the time will come when I can treat myself to a couple of pieces of chicken with the skin still on, I am truly going to save this video and attempt the recipe myself but I will surely add some spice to the marinade. I am not sure how your video found its way into my feed but I want to say congratulations for attracting 56,000 plus subscribers. That is a noteworthy accomplishment and I feel a sense of pride and joy for you, and those important to you for such an accomplishment. My name is Eric and I live currently in Key West Florida in the U.S., but I go by Ruler In Peace for all my creative endeavor and teaching endeavors. I am multi-ethnic (African American, Native American, Latino, and French) and am preparing to marry a Chinese Malaysian near the end of this year and I am moving to Malaysia in August. Thank you for sharing and I look forward to getting to know you over time as I consume more of your content and share value if the opportunity ever arises to do so. Respectfully, -Ruler In Peace

Im not into asian flavors or food that much. But, how genuine you are, the tips i just picked up, and the inspiration you gave me earned you a sub not just a like. I truly appreciate that you explained every detail and "tricks of the trade" (that are so often left out from you tube videos) so that it is easy to follow the step-by-step recipe, thus helping us to get the same result. I only have one comment: the spoon you used to add the crushed garlic seems to be a serving spoon, rather than the "tablespoon" you mentioned, the difference in size can make a great difference in the outcome.
Hi! this is the best fried chicken recipe ever! I saw in your other video you said seed oil is not healthy. That’s why I only cook with lard, tallow, chicken fat, butter or ghee. I usually avoid fried foods(seed oils ) but your recipe looks so delicious I will fry the chicken in lard or tallow. I learned something new today like slicing the meat between the bone. Thanks for sharing generously all your techniques. You’re very thorough in explaining so people can’t fail with the recipe it’s too bad some people are impatient and don’t appreciate you’re helpful and kind. Thanks again!
