I lost my mind, marriage and daughter… all in the same year. God tripled my blessings. Ofc I would wish to have my daughter back over anything I’ve gained since, but He has shown me that with Him I can conquer anything 🙏🏾😮💨🙏🏾

God told me to leave an abusive relationship with a toddler and one on the way. We ended up homeless in a hotel until god put on my heart to go to seminary to become a Chaplin. I’m in school on academic probation for the first time and I feel like I’m at a loss and can’t hear what god is telling us to do next. May my next journey show the fruits from what I thought was a loss amen
Absolutely! I got laid off as a legal secetary that constantly wanted a raise,bonus and more responsibilities and it pushed me to go back to school.📚 Lord willing I will graduate from law school in June😊🙏

Chance your story about that past job experience was quite powerful. I had a similar experience, getting terminated due to a conflict with my director so she set me up with false falsification. I was falsely accused of falsifying records. I'm a Registered Nurse and chose not to pursue advised legal actions. I grieved a long time but that setback was a setup for greater things for me and my family. Sometimes we get too comfortable to move so God has to do it. Thank you both for your transparency. 🌟💜🌟

You got me saying “bring the best in” and it is annoying my 15 year old. I volunteered at her school assembly just yesterday and low and behold my baby name was on a slide for Principal’s High Honor Roll. 3.9 or higher since her 1st year of high school. So I yelled out “Sadie bring the beat in”. Everybody screamed and yelled because my baby go through a lot (I’m in need of an organ transplant) and has a little anxiety. Ive experienced something similar ( failed business etc) and I’m at a point in life where my peace is something I’m not willing to compromise. My last day at my job is Wednesday and I’m so overjoyed to release that weight on my soul. Wins and losses.

My loss that was a win: I had a miscarriage in 2021 and although it was a loss and it hurt it turned out to be a win. When I prayed for a child I prayed that God show me I could get pregnant and he showed me I could but reminded me that that isnt what I asked him for previously. I asked that I have my child in June/ July and that’s what he gave me 💙and through the loss my marriage became stronger .

There were many gems in this video. The one that's for me in this season is to not get comfortable in someone else's space. Keeping a healthy distance. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I heard that. Just walk on out in one moment. Lord knows I've had to make SEVERAL trips packing up plants, Tupperware, etc. when I either got laid off or terminated. Humiliating & frustrating, thinking "Why do I have all this stuff in my drawers?" Never again. NEVAH!
Chance and Tab are the rainbow after the storm. This is season of growth and discomfort. Dont miss the next season of reaping what was sowed. It can be external or internal growth or both. If you're fearful and doubtful, it's okay. Do what you know to do with all those feelings. Bring them with you so you can look back on how much you've come with even more pride.

I started watching your videos on Facebook during the pandemic, and you've been such a light since I saw that first video. Don't know why I never got around to visiting your TH-cam until now. That said, I'm so happy to see all these wonderful things happening for you and your family. Listen, I picked up so many items from the Tabitha Brown collection at Target from the past couple weeks, and went so far as to order 3 of those beautiful drinking glasses to match the ONE I found in the store. I hope Target does a permanent collection with you, because these limited edition collections (though special) are not enough for us. We need a permanent partnership.
That said, thanks for this message. We need to learn to move with gratitude even when the spirit is rerouting us in another direction. Y'all are so beautiful and I wish you continued success. 💜
Funny final side note, I used to work at Apac in South Texas answering calls for Verizon many, many years ago in my 20s. I felt that story deep. 🤣🤦🏽♀️
I felt Chance on the job thing. I had a job that I was fired from that led to a year of unemployment, when I tell you that changed me & God used it! Whew! I carry the lesson with me to this day! Also, I love how Chance was lowkey wanting to go in on the Food Network situation! Protect yo woman!

I most definitely have experienced this. I got hurt on my job and was laid off. But I was working to pay for my home. I was devastated 😢😳😭But I thought I would lose my home, not knowing than God had a plan for me. I recieved enough money from getting hurt through workers comp to pay my home off. So although I was looking at it as a loss, it was a win. I am disabled now at home. Living the life I always desired. Not worrying if me and my babies will be sleeping in a car as we had in the past. This was most definitely a learning experience for me.

I love everything about this message. Truly there is a message in this video. I have gone through some of the experiences mentioned. It hurt at the time but God had a plan. Growth and change took place and that far outweighed what I thought was a loss.
I felt this all the way in my spirit. I experienced a few losses last year. Something I’d never really dealt with ever in my career. But it wasn’t until months later even almost going into 2023 that it is all making sense. I wrote down that I wanted to see what God sees in me in 2023. As I began to move forward, I realized that I had to experience losing that job for me to see my value and prepare me for my next role(s). I’ve got so much to give in this lifetime and sometimes we can be so quick to place ourselves where God did not put us in in the first place. I just want to say thank you Tab and Chance for sharing these moments as they are very inspiring and uplifting.
The losses in life and love have set me up to win. I’m so grateful for them. Bless you both!!

Only my comfort was in being stagnant in a position with a company that was going no where. I agree. You never lose if you learn something from the experience and it might not be until years later. I too have been in a job knowing it was supposed to be temporary but got comfortable and each time God said if your not gonna move I will make you and I was laid off. Each time I found better opportunities with almost no time unemployed.
"Who would we be without the challenges and opportunities we faced?" The LEARNINGS that come from failure are invaluable, even if you learn something15 years later. It's important for people to know that failure is an event, not a person. I'm blessed that an element of my day job (innovation) has allowed me to reframe (recovering perfectionist 🙋🏾♀️🤣), and coach and enable others to think differently.
