- Recorded, cleaned and enhanced from 7" vinyl. Used in the 1983 horror film, "Sleepaway Camp". Vinyl image scanned and enhanced from my own copy.
I do not own this song, so if the artist wishes for me to unfortunately take it down, I will do so without any problems. Please contact me about copyright issues or general correspondence at phaota@gmail.com instead of giving me a strike via a YT takedown. Thanks.
++ If you are a TH-camr, please do not steal this content for your channel. I love bringing you 80s music, but please, in the spirit of my channel, do not take it for your own. Credit and link is appreciated. Thank You ++
This quality is... *just what I've been looking for*
Glad you approve. Thanks.
Absolutely fantastic song
Nice to know you enjoy the song. Thanks for stopping by for a comment. Always appreciated. :)
@@Phaota just saw the movie for the 1st time. I’m obsessed
It's like listening a new version, amazing sound of this terrifyingly beautiful song
Glad you like it, Retro. I was happy to find a nearly perfect 7" vinyl (which is the one shown in the video that I scanned and cleaned up a bit).
This song makes my skin crawl -- very VERY eerie, right up there with the end song to the original Pet Semetery. Also, the surprise ending had the same effect on me as Angel's Heart's big reveal.
Slightly different than the end credits scene from the movie. Just played them to compare. Excited to hear which version will be included on the new 1984 Publishing vinyl.
Glad to know you like the song. Did not know about a new vinyl, so I'm also curious about which version will be included.
This song is what I’ve been looking for
Glad to know I've put up something you were searching for. :)
Paul: Guess I gotta go. Well, goodnight, Angela. 😊😊 (goes to sleep; this song plays in the background as there's a brief beat and the camera zooms on Angela)
Angela: (first line) Goodnight... 🥰🥰
(Paul turns around as Angela gives a sheepish little smile)
Paul: Goodnight! 😃😃
wowwww wtf wtf wtf !!!! this is incredible
Happy to know you like the song. Thanks for stopping by for a comment. :)
The year i was born..1983
Hmm this version, sound verry different and yet verry similar, crazy how music and time can do that.
Yeah, it is odd since the vinyl version is supposed to be the one from the film.
Yea, I think alot of the instruments, that we hear in version that play out at the end of the movie are faintly heard if you have a really nice sound system. Which they rarely had in the early 80's. Or Maybe an audio to video lag issue during the development in the end credits. Maybe I'm speculating too much. Into this! :0
@@Jojo1996-_- I'll redownload the movie and check them out together in my audio editor.
I compared the film version to the vinyl rip I did and they are same. The only difference is that the movie song is slightly muffled, taking away the clarity of the vinyl edition.
Está canción es científicamente muy buena.
I think Children of Bodom should cover this amazing track!
A song with the hook saying "your the only girl I adore" but Angie was a boy....
I think that’s the point. The lyrics are from Paul’s point of view, before he discovers Angela’s true identity.
Needless to say, _the shock makes him lose his head._
That's the point of the song. Why do you think they put it during the end credits right after Angela's secret is revealed?
@Caroline Woodward He could be alluding the mysterious deaths. Like he knew Angela was behind them but not the other "secret".
The old quality sounds wayy better than any remaster imo
EPIK
Not sure what you are meaning by that.
@@PhaotaThat it's an epik song
EPIK
@@gbsreborn1733 Are you meaning "epic"?
@@Phaota No, mate, epic means epic, EPIK means REALLY EPIK
EPIK
@@gbsreborn1733 See, I don't get this new slang you are using. It has always been "epic", so when did people start misspelling it with a "k"? Is this a new abbreviation I'm not familiar with? Explain this to me.
