Ah yes, den naming. I hadn’t played this game in years, bought it recently and started a new game (on easy just to get the ropes) and the den naming popped up. I did not know that was something I should have been thinking about, and I had the dens “Comfort”, which flooded and we had to leave, “Comforter” which flooded and we had to leave the 2nd, and then “Comfortest”. Got to the rendezvous spot, realized I had to name that too, and so “Comfortester” would become our summer spot. Now I’ve gotta keep going with this
If you hold a pup over rugged terrain, it won't let you drop it even if you run out of stamina. This has been very helpful for me during an eagle attack, and I hope this helps you just as it has me. Beautiful video.
11:35 if you‘re in a situation like this don’t drain your stamina by getting away, instead run little circles around the attacking wolves. Then they can’t get you and your stamina will be back in no time.
I always forget that not everybody plays this game on Accurate, it as well as Ironwolf are pretty much the only settings I choose XD Edit: it's quite intimidating at first, but you'll quickly get a feel for it if you stick with it. The biggest thing is caution, because too many unlucky hunts in a row could spell death for you :]

I watched this video so many times, it’s just such a good way to watch a WolfQuest playthrough and the editing is very funny. I did try to replay WQ: AE again after watching this, but I gave up at the pup stage after having 6 pups (more than I wanted although it’s mostly my fault for picking a 4 star gray mate, his pups were super pretty though and one female was like this bluish-black color), all the managing of territory was super tiring, a pup got sick (he wouldn’t die anyway because I was on Easy mode), and in general it was way too much micromanaging especially since going from one side of the territory to another then back to your den takes like 10 minutes. I couldn’t handle it, so I’ll just watch you play it over and over lol
Update: I reinstalled and finished my campaign with all six pups alive. Two of them are NPC coats (Frosty and Bronze Forehead) and they were all really pretty so I ended up favoriting all of them. I’m currently playing as the big boy of the litter in Lost River 😁 I realized that the territory doesn’t decay as quickly as I thought it did on Easy difficulty, and once I got comfortable with that and sending my pups back to hide as soon as we woke up from napping, it went smoothly from there.
The subtitles on the screen are just incredible😂 also i feel you, i was super nervous to try accurate(and five of my pups died to sickness cause i was out too long to care for territory😢 i had only six).
the names you give your mates and your pups are flawless. now for ironwolf experience... or maybe ultra ironwolf experience. i'm just giving ideas. the editing style you have is so good, i like the explosions. keep it up :D

God I remember playing this game back in 2007-2008 and loved it so much when I was in middle school! I love wolves so much and would always be playing it either solo or multiplayer! After a while I kinda forgot it existed until I was thinking about it and played it the old version on my pc just to bring back some memories! Im so happy that WQ has gotten a MASSIVE update since then and has new life breathe into it! I'm very glad that the game is getting the recognition it deserves if not more!
Big tip, the number of the emote in your favorites wheel corresponds to a number on your keyboard. I have woof as 1 so i can quickly tap it in emergencies, because every second matters sometimes (especially with insta kill predators like strangers and eagles).

I am at generation 6 of my pack now, started playing accurate at generation 3. It’s tough but a lil more challenging und fun. If you get used to it it‘ll get easier.
I have done accurate many times and let me say. It is actually easier than challenging bc, challenging makes prey stronger but doesn’t change you. Accurate however makes both you and the prey weaker with the prey having a little advantage.
I had 3? Though all of them died due to child assonater"s (1. Ashes Died of an eagle because she came out of the den before I got home. She was the runt thankfully though. 2. Demeter died of a coyote. The CHONKER. 3. Zues was killed by a stranger wolf. And the normal child at decent weight.)
Oop- and here I go playing it constantly. I think I'm addict to the constant urge of "RED ALERT RED ALERT AAAAA- I haven't played other game modes besides multiplayer and whatevers on there. I feel like if I do easy I'll get used to the fact I don't have to fight for a single CHUNK of meat 😅

Me and a friend pulled down an elk the other day and a nearby herd got spooked, came over and *trampled* her. Probably just bad pathing, but I think they had it out for us 😂
worst part abt playing accurate is going thru the tutorial and then getting nothing but 1-2 star mates OR the 3-4 stars are like. 4 years old. sigh. btw i felt that OH FUCK when you see the mf coyotes or rival packs closing in on the distance lmao.
Fun fact: as long as your mate has a copy of the black and grey coat gene(Kk), then the diversity doesn't matter(sometimes) That's what I realized over a few years playing WolfQuest 😂 But even a 4 star diversity wolf may not be the best to be a mother or father. I learned that the most hard and painful way on accurate with my wolf Tynan. Lets just say, his mate in Lost River DLC(when he was age 4 and age 5) was not suited to be a mother T-T
just a little criticism or advise, turn your audio down and try to have transitions when the audio is rough on the ears. The explosion at the beginning and some of the howling felt like it gave me ear damage and i have my youtube sound pretty low so maybe keep that in mind for later video editing ^^ Congrats on your Accurate Run
That was mean, I take that back. Wolfquest is genuinely pretty loud in itself; I DID make an effort to lower the volume on most things (including the effects and howling) but if I were to lower them more, it’d be hard to hear anyway. Besides, you howl in the game hundreds if not thousands of times. Trying to lower the volume of all of them would be obsolete 😭I can make a bigger effort in my next video but there’s not much to be done. I’m thankful that you critiqued me, but it’s not needed. ABSOLUTELY! it is 100% worth it. The directions and tutorials are a bit. Unhelpful but it's easy to get the hang of!
